Which is your favorite John Carpenter movie

You gotta admit though, Carpenter's last 2 or 3 movies kinda sucked

Vampires was the last "Theater Quality" movie, and it passes that mark just barely!

But I fear we may not see too many more movies of his in the future...Plus, lately he's been a regular director of the Showtime Horror TV Series, I forget the name (I don't have showtime)

I voted Halloween, but I also think The Thing is another excellent film from JC.

This is such a hard question, so many great options. I'd probably have to go with Big Trouble In Little China, although I also love both of the Escapes and The Thing, oh and Halloween and Assault On Precinct 13... damn, there's just too many.

Escape from New York,I thought it was such a great idea as a little girl. So dark and I was really worried,scared and freaked out.

Halloween,I just saw it Tues. for the first time. I've never seen it all the way from begining to end. I'm so ashamed.

The Thing,loved watching this with all the lights out just freaking out.

Christine,I think I've only seen this once or twice and I was scared out of my wits. It doesn't take much.

the absolute worst J.C. movie has to be Ghosts of Mars, I can't believe that the same person who gave us The Thing made that piece of **** movie.

I would love to see a sequel to 'The Thing', reuniting J.C and Kurt once again.

I actually enjoyed Ghosts of Mars a bit. It's a fun time killer. Granted, it's nothing compared to most of his other movies.
