Which Jor-el do you Prefer???

Crowe for me, apart from the scene of him directing people on the ship he was excellent.

And it showed up in almost every other version of Superman made after those films until this one. Got old fast. It choked creativity.

But it was more mythical, that's why it was better. There's a reason it set the standard for the mythos for so many years to come. If you think the origin of Superman is just about a man on a futuristic planet who sends his son to earth, then you would be wrong. That is just skimming the surface, and that is something I believe went completely over Snyder's head. Like I said, he told the story on purely a superficial level.

In Man Of Steel, Kal-El is sent to Earth in a space pod.
In Superman, Kal-El is sent to Earth in a star.

I don't care about karate or Russell fighting, the main reason I prefer Crowe is because I got a sense that he loved his son which I did not get from Marlon.

So? Still better than the Star Wars reject planet.

So? Closer to what it really is in the comics.

Krypton in the comics has some originality.

No they can do whatever they want

In regards to their Krypton, I'm wondering if thats a good thing.

Crowe. One of the best parts of the movie for me.

All Red Giant stars don't really look Red when viewed from planets that are close t them.

Considering the fact that Brando read his dialogues and did the role just for money, he did very well, it just shows how good actor he was.

Donner's Jor El was supposed to be caring but somewhat stoic, so Brando did an incredible job.

I would say both are equally good.
