Personally, I can't decide between B66, B89, or BB.

Are we also looking at the character of Bruce Wayne?

The Dark Knight. Nailed pretty much everything.

The Dark Knight first, I would say second would be either Batman 89 or Batman Begins.

Batman v Superman

Hahahahahahahaha just kidding he sucked in that movie

B89 for Batman portrayal and BB for Bruce portrayal

It's hard for me to decide.

Considering the often heard complaints about Batman in TDK, I was slightly surprised that TDK Bats is winning the poll. Just goes to show that its a vocal minority that dislikes Batman's portrayal in that film.

Between TDK and BB for me but had to go with BB, Bale gets you so invested in Bruce and his mission in that movie.

i want to say ben affleck. he was intimidating as hell as both bruce and as batman. i was strongly opposed to casting him but he won me over.

dare i say this is one of the best portrayals of a super hero since RDJ as iron man.

cant wait for the stand alone film.

BvS, I just loved that brutal side. Close 2nd '89.
Not a fan of the TDK trilogy, never liked the fact that he gave up being Batman so soon in it.

I'd have to say BB, TDK, B89 and BF. They all have their strengths and weaknesses ,but I like how Batman and Bruce Wayne are portrayed in all of them.

TDKR, BR, and BvS are my least favorite portrayals of Bruce Wayne/Batman and are my least favorite stories in general.

The Dark Knight - Bale does the most with the role in that film - but also the story serves Batman best. Now I suppose that's about acting, but even if we talk characterisation, TDK gives Batman the best possible story to work with.
The interrogation scene is still probably one of the best moment in any superhero film -certainly in any Bat-film.

Begins is a very close second, with '89 third and everything else miles behind, including B v S.

While I think Batfleck did well, and his ass-kicking was great Batman's one-man assault on the Pruitt building in TDK showed more of what the character is about - combining gadgets, tactics and skill with a desire to use the minimum degree of force necessary.

Sure, I'm okay with Batfleck killing people, and I understand he's a different version of Batman but I still feel like Nolan's Batman in TDK is still the best portrayal of Batman to date.

Batfleck as a jaded, frustrated and world weary batman in middle age was very good, but it's still unfair to judge him against Bale or Keaton because they had at least 2 standalone movies to prove their mettle. Let's wait till we see batfleck in his solo flick then it will get interesting.

As of now Bale gets the nod for either TDK or BB, he was very good in both of them.

- Bale is the reason why Batman's voice has become a mockery and a meme these last several years.

- Affleck was so bland they had to give him a robotic voice to make him sound intimidating.

The answer is Keaton.
