Which Marvel characters would work well in the DCU?

They got every city the real world has, plus a few extra one.

Ben: Metropolis? why not just call it "Citysburg"

Actually, I didn't mean for it to be equivalent to the "Armageddon" story. More like if they were retconned to fit in the DCU.

Hmmm, maybe Venom.

Good choice. He'd be an awesome villain for the JSA.

Just think if he were to get his hands on the Worlogog. :)

Thor
Captain America
Fantastic Four
Paste pot Pete
Inhumans
Moleman

The good thing about Kang is that he could totally be in both universes at the same time.

I think if the character doesn't kill or wears his undies on the outside could fit in the DCU.

Heh... Squadron Supreme.... they should totally cross over!

Supes: This feels so weird
Hyperion: you have no idea

Whizzer: I'm faster!
Flash: No, I'm Faster!
Whizzer: No I'M FASTER!

PP: On your island of amazon women... there were no men right?
WW: Yes, same as yours...
PP: so did you ever...
WW: Well I expect you and your people did too.
*Pause*
PP: We'll be back we have to go... investigate a hotel room for a few hours

Heh.

It works!

Silver Surfer for sure, and maybe Cap as well. Fantastic Four also has that great goofiness to them.

I don't know that any could actually. Their personalities are tied to the prevaling logic of their universes.

The Impossible Man and Captain Ultra could start a team with Ambush Bug and drive the DC heroes crazy.

I'm reading that JL Spider story. It is very good.

I would love for a young spider-man to be taken in and trained by Batman. I know that Bruce doesn't take in people with powers but Peter's got the heart and the past to be a part of the bat family.

I've also been thinking about a sort of merged universe storyline where Namor has always existed in the DCU but his exsistance was covered up and the real Atlantis was put into suspended animation then replaced with a false one created by combining true atlantis dna with thousands of brainwashed wards of the state. To be lead by a young orphan that they named Arthur after the mythical king fused with a diluted amount of Namor's dna.

This would fallow the real life fact that Namor came first and aquaman is a deriviative of him.

Namor escapes frees his sleeping people, kicks Aurthor out of the sea and declares war on the surface world.

As you can see I'm a bit of a fan of the avenging son.:O

Don't pay me any mind.

I'd hardly call Aquaman a derivative of Namor, considering they are nothing alike, and especially not alike when they were first created. Besides, Namor only really predates Aquaman by two years.

I'm leaning towards this as well. I don't think the two universes are all that compatible.

Damn right. Kang's cool like that.
They could even bring back the Council of Kangs.
Hell, it could lead into the huge DCU event...the Kang Krisis.

sounds like a Twised Toy Theatre concept ;)

We should get some people together and totally pitch the concept to them. :D

Young Avengers, Kang, Taskmaster, Deadpool, Bishop, and Nick Fury.
