I'm guilty of these:

normcore (n.): a fashion movement in which ordinary, unfashionable clothing is worn as a deliberate statement.

slacktivist (n.): one who engages in digital activism on the Web which is regarded as requiring little time or involvement. Also slacktivism

and I've been accused of this when I get dismissive:

duck face (n.): a (pejorative) term for a facial expression made by pressing one’s lips together into the shape of a duck’s bill, often performed in selfies.

I'm curious why they chose to structure this word this way. Looks like the root word is porno.

spornosexual (n.): a man who is extremely conscious of his appearance and devoted to cultivating a sexually attractive physique.

Been using polar vortex since last year. Though it does sound like some kind of move from a video game or anime.

That's the reason "ISIS" caught on and nobody uses ISIL or IS.

The name ISIS makes us feel like James Bond.

Le whaaaaa? :huh::woot:

Ha yes sorry, I will translate, I use The Larousse .

I think Urban Dictionary has the superior way of defining "columbusing".

(Oxford) Columbusing (n.): the act of appropriating, without acknowledgment, a cultural attribute associated with an ethnic group other than one’s own.

(Urban Dictionary) Columbusing: When white people claim they have invented/discovered something that has been around for years, decades, even centuries. :hehe:

Bae is one of the dumbest words to come out in a looooooooong time.

I've said click bait and duck face before, in complaining about them.

I'm not sure why you're using the word "guilty." There's nothing to feel guilty about.

I've used vape, duck face and click bait.

Bae stop vaping and go ask the budtender if we can use any contactless cards. All these slacktivists in line look really hangry, maybe we can use the poor door instead. If it wasn't for the polar vortex and frost quakes, my normcore outfit would look really on point. As a spornosexual, I really need to mansplain to you about these brogrammers out there. They are really neuromorphic about clickbait and dronies. Maybe we should talk about conscious uncoupling since you are really smugshruging me about it.

I feel like I just walked into an episode of Awkward.

Yes, I watch it.

I don't know what Kane just said, but he seems pretty hip and up on the times and now I think he's cool for reasons I can't explain

Oh no I just used the words "hip" and "cool"... I'm no longer on the cutting edge of society!

I'm... lame!

Oh **** I just used the word "lame"!

I've said duckface and bae to complain or make fun of them. lol.
Most of those words, I have never even heard.
