His allies, what is this the Super Friends? I'd like to see Spider-Man being able to handle the duties of being a hero, without a good ol' sap in Doc Ock saving the city for him with his life.

sounds like a nightmare of an ending...black cat in a movie = catwoman confusion and bad idea all around.

Black Cat is not a Catwoman knock off. From Wikipedia:

That actually doesn't make me want to see her in a movie. Perhaps that depiction reached the page first, but Selina's depiction reached the GA first & that is how they will see it.
At any rate, I don't want to see Spidey with allies. He's not Batman. Hook him up with Stacy, people will see Gordon. Hook him up with Felicia, people will see Catwoman. A Spider-Man movie should be about Spider-Man. Period.

You cant pass up Stacy...Spider-Man is dating his daughter. Just flesh him out a bit more than Cromwell,less of the cop scenario and more of him interacting with Peter.

I'm just saying; you wrote that post like it was an absolute certainty. We have no idea which way the movie's going to go. And as they're retaining the same writer, he may keep the relationship with Mary Jane, the more familiar love interest.

Spidey's "sidekick" doesn't have fight with him and spend time with him all the time. Just from time to time he/she will just show up and well....do whatever!

None ever its just unnecessary. Just a lazy way out of making the movie interesting. If this is a 3 part series again or whether this goes on for awhile they should keep it fresh with a villain and maybe introducing just black cat. But really I prefer none of them to be in it ever.

Black Cat whatever movie shes in would create some stupid love triangle and thats what half of the movie would be on.
