Ok, we know one of the actors said that someone that died in Spider-Man 3 will indeed come back for Spider-Man 4. Who do you think it will be... give you opinions on valid reasons on how they could or couldn't come back. Also give the scenerio you can see happening...

AND DON'T JUST VOTE VENOM JUST BECAUSE YOUR A VENOM FAN!!! PICK THE VALID CANDIDATE!!!

During one of the Spider-Man premiers, I remember one of the members posting a link to a quote from one of the Spidey actors saying that someone who died in this film would return.. and that he wouldn't say who.

Personally I see Harry returning and being an allie of Spidey's...

but at the same time I would LOVE to see more Venom action...

I see Harry as being the valid choice... but Venom being the most exciting choice...

knowing Sony, Venom will probobly be the one choosen to return... but Harry returning with seem more valid...

Symbiote...so other.

no one, people figured that IGN article was false

Dude, if that article wasn't true, IGN would lose a lot of credibility.

Venom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because an actor returns to film sequences for the sequel, does not mean the character rises from the dead. Look at Uncle Ben and Norman Osborne. It is more likely Harry will pop in during a dream sequence or a flashback.

But I specificly remember in that artcile the actor saying that the character is revealed to still be alive, or something to that effect.

It's too soon for Venom. Think about the way they let the Harry storyline mosey through SM2. That's considering, of course, the same creative team comes back. Who knows what a new team would do...

Brock could appear but he'd mostly be the symbiote with Brock's voice. Which would then attach itself to Cletus and become Carnage. That's the only way I see him coming back. It's a shame Raimi decided to kill him off with the pumpkin bomb, I would've rather seen Brock busted and thrown into jail, and Sandman get forgiven by Pete and turn into dust, than Brock biting the dust and Sandman actually turning into dust.

I imagine it would be the symbiote. The other two seem pretty unlikely. A symbiote can reasonably be explained to survive an explosion... a human, not so much.

Harry coming back would take away from the ending of the last movie.

I'm reasonably certain that, if it is true, it's the symbiote that is alive. Venom has a slim chance though. They'd have to come up with a mighty good explanation though; it would probably have something to do with the symbiote, prior to the explosion, bonding permenately with Eddie Brock, and they will slowly regenerate the full body and exist as one entity.

Hence why they never said which actor said it. If they did and it wasent true, they would get in lots of problems. In this case they cant, cause they never stated who said it.

I'm telling you guys its one of those S.W.A.T. guys that got "killed" by Venom.

Was it ever specificially stated that it was an actor?

If it was, I'm inclined to believe it's bogus wishful thinking.

It was an actor, saying, "I might not be dead...". Unless there's an alien symbiote roaming around Hollywood, I'd think the speculation would be restricted to humanoid-based characters.

Fair enough. In any case, "I might not be dead..." quoted anonymously sounds like wishful thinking by someone trying to imply the return of Venom. I mean, the word "might" immediately takes away all accountability. And of course Venom might not be dead. I could have told you that. It's a meaningless quote, in that case.

It's gotta be Venom. I mean, since when can an explosion completely disinigrate something?
