Definitely The Hobbit two Parter. I have a great respect for Guillermo Del Toro and I trust he will do these two movies right.

My list is

Spidey4
Bourne4
Pirates4
Hobbit

And not too fussed about the rest really.

Terminator Salvation
Mission Impossible 4
Bourne 4

The Hobbit is a prequel.

I'm excited for these:
Pirates
Hobbit

I'll watch these:
Spider-Man
Rush Hour
Shrek

I voted Jurassic Park IV then realized that the Hobbit was on the list :csad:

Can I say Kung Fu Panda? Does that count? Appearntly there's possibly going tobe 6 films of that film, I loved it and also can't wait for the Nick series.

Hmm, some tough choices really,but:

Hobbit(not a fourquel,buta prequel)
Bourne IV(loved the series, but worried that it will get watered down with 4th)
Terminator:just to have Bale in it is good enough, though no Arnold..
Jurrasic Park IV: Still like the series, though its declined since 1st movie.
Spiderman IV: Hopefully stick to one baddie, and a more solid story..
Resident Evil IV:Have doubts, but I'm a sucker for the series..hopefully little more action/dark type movie...
Mad Max IV: Have doubts, but its Mad Max..
Pirates IV: Hopefully improvement over 3rd installment. Movie could'nt decide if wanted to be a dark comedy or what...
etc..
Out of these what do ppl think has been the most solid series(not just talking box office hit)????
which one has most upside with a 4th,and which has the downside???

LOTR. Oscars, Critically Acclaimed, AFI, not to mention Highest collective box office.

I'd watch any of 'em except Final Destination 4.

Spider-Man 4, but I'm a Spider-Man fan, so that isn't hard to figure out :cwink:

Next I'd say Bourne 4, all 3 movies delivered very well. I am also pumped for The Hobbit, but since it is a prequel, I don't see it as a continuation of the series, but more an explanation. Anyway, it is my 3rd in my heirarchy.

At this stage, I have no interest in Terminator Salvation. Same writers as 3 and McG? No thanks.

I didn't realize how popular Terminator Salvation was. :o

I do think a lot of people wouldn't have been interested in it without him too. For me though it has to do with the original being my favorite sci-fi film and wanting to see a future war movie all my life. Bale or no Bale I would've still watched this but what do I know I enjoyed T3 for what it was. .

Actually to be honest, if it was some no name, I'd have to be pretty "wowed" by the trailer to actually get me excited to go see it.

I don't get that. It's not like his involvement automatically guarantees quality. I mean, did people not see Reign of Fire? Or The New World? Terminator from the director of the Charlie's Angels movies - no thanks.

Anyway, The Hobbit.

This is a messageboard comprised of superhero movie fans and Bale is practically a god for 90% of the populace here, that explains that they will have an interest in anything he does, and since BB he's been on a hell of a quality roll in most ppl's view.......Plus look at your attitude, Bale was in a couple of flicks you didn't like and McG directed one you didn't like so you aren't even giving it until a trailer ? same thing. :cwink:

My interest goes beyond Bale as well, ive always loved the Terminator mythos and always wanted to see a full movie set in the future war that we have glimpsed in the other films.

Bale doesn't have anything to do with my disinterest in T4, I was just pointing out that not all of his films are "winners" (also, The New World came out after BB)

IMO, McG is a hack and that spoiler that came out was one of the most absurd things I've ever read. That's where my disinterest stems from :cwink:
