Banners and posters are not the same thing

Especially when the banners were never released by the studio. Not that it matters. They're the favorites. Shows what the studio knows about the fans. Or maybe we'll see finished versions of them in the future (we already have for international #2)?

The first one has always been my favorite. Its hows the mood of the movie. Spider-Man's greatest struggle. It introduces his new character. Everything you need to know about the mood of the movie is in that poster. It speaks a thousand words.

The first poster easy for me, then the widescreen one with Pete & MJ. The angles do all the work here.

I really hate the other posters (red vs black). They look cheap, nasty and exactly the same. They remind of the god awful colouring that plagues Marvel's junior merchandise at the moment.

Example for my point above. It does'nt really come across here though. What I mean are that the colours look plastic, moulded on etc. Umm not really explaining my point well here...

I'll tell you which poster is my favorite, when the FINAL poster-art comes out, very soon I'd emagine!!!! Cause they'll be 10 times as bad-ass as ANY of the posters out now!... These are still just "teaser-posters"... The absolute best is DEFINITLY still to come!! It's pretty obvious!... First off, SM-2 released its final poster-art a month before opening (which is why I'm betting it's the same with SM-3)!... Secondly, judging from these little "cute" posters out now and comparing them to the Destiny/Choice/Sacrifice posters from SM-2, than these posters from SM-3 are down right EMBARRASSING!!!... And with SM-3 beeing A LOT bigger than SM-2 and also take in to the account that we have so many new characters in this flick, then they BETTER show us some poster art that's at least just as good as the final poster-art for SM-2... If not, it's so incredibly weak of Sony!!!

I just needed to get that off my chest, but I know in my heart that we have some exstremely BADASS posters heading our way!! and then these that's out now, wont even be a memory!... I could easily emagine character posters for Eddie Brock/Venom and Sandman! along with one of Black spidey too! I'm hoping for some poster trilogy-art similar to the ones we got for SM-2!

Dude, we're five weeks away...how can it still be teaser posters? The teaser poster was like over a year ago.....we're on the final stretch man.t:

I wouldn't hold my breath. Even if there is a new image or two, they'll have the same blue-to-gold city in the background, and all around too-bright colors. The colors are what hurt these posters the most.

Besides, outside of the too-bright colors (for my taste), these posters are pretty good. Especially the ones that avoid the color scheme -- the lenticular and black-spidey on the ledge. Personally, I think the black-spidey teaser one is the one of best Spider-man poster to date. To me, it's way more compelling (dramatically speaking) than SM2's Choice poster.

It's the only Spidey 3 poster that I like, the rest is just medium. Nothing special.

We can agree on that one... as for the rest, they're not half as cool as the poster-art for SM-2.... And I WILL hold my breath for new posters... they will come... what we have now is just too poor for this flick!. They're coming, I know it...
