I really, really cannot comprehend that.

I feel that SM3 is leagues behind the other 2.

The first page of the "fanboys over-reacting" thread had a good analogy: not as bad as Batman&Robin, but probably at the level of Batman Forever.

In fact, come to think of it, I think the Spidey series mirrors the drop in quality to the first Batman series.

Which is really worrying for Spidey 4.

First off, I love all three films. However, I tend to enjoy the original Spider-Man film and Spider-Man 3 over Spider-Man 2. SM2 is a great movie, but I just didn't find it as enjoyable as the others. I blame this on myself because I kept reading spoilers for the movie, and my anticipation was lost unlike movies 1 and 3.

Just from the replies in this thread the MAJORITY consensus would seem to be:

Option 3: Spider-man 2, Spider-man, Spider-man 3

And I would appear to be in the minority

I was right! But "wrong" with my choice.

If I were to rate, it´d be a 9 for Spidey 2, a 8 to Spidey 1 and a 7,5 or 8 to Spidey 3.

For me Spidey 3 completes 2. Spidey 2 is probably the better film, but Spidey 3 is more entertaining while still being about the people in it (Unlike some third installments).
