Which Transformers film was the best?

I heard you guys haven't voted in enough polls lately.
So here's another one. Which of these 3 Transformers films did you like best (or hate the least)?

I left out Transformers 2 on purpose, because no one should choose that one.

The first one. I don't vehemently hate the Transformers movies like most people here, though.

The first was definitely the best. And I actually liked the 4th more than Dark of the Moon

Transformers by far but I do like the third one.

Can't realy decide which was the worst, Revenge of the Fallen or Age of Extinction, they were both terrible in their oun ways. Transformers 1 was the most consistent one, while the 3rd film was entertaining in a ride sort of way, the visuals and 3D in that film were amazing.

1 was good. I didnt think things were as obnoxious as they were in the sequels.

The 4th one was good too. Mark Wahlberg made for a good protagonist and I liked that they gave some of the Autobots more personality. If they wouldve cut the length I probably wouldve liked it better than the first one

One of them kills an unarmed prisoner that didn't hurt them because they found it icky.

The first. And even that is a 4/10 if I'm being generous.

Don't see it as any worse than Star Lord messing with those creatures in the opening of Galaxy or even Thor killing (or hurting) a bunch of Frost Giants and that didnt really bother me either

First one had some heart,
Second one only has Jetfire going for it,
Third one has nice visuals,
Fourth one has nice visuals but a bloated story.

The prisoner in a cage isn't hurting anyone (unlike Frost Giants, if memory serves), the supposed heroes murder it because they think it looks icky. This is not the action of heroes or good people. Star-Lord, while not doing a good thing there, at least wasn't murdering defenseless creatures because he didn't like they way they looked.

I actually like the franchise, I get what I expect out of it, but TF1 is the only genuinely good movie out of them all. I actually class the first one as a really good movie.

The rest are good entertainment but that's it.

It's still whatever. THe Transformers were always kinda "crazy" or whatever. In the first one didnt Iron Hide threaten to shoot innocent people a bunch of times. Didn't the Twins threaten to kill an innocent human too.

Theyve always been that way to me. I dont really care, especially if that is the only instance.

And really it's not different than what Star Lord did. ANd I think the Frost Giants that Thor killed werent doing anything at the time I dont think. 2 Giants snuck into the Throne room but, if I remember correctly, Thor didnt know for sure whether they were on orders from Laufrey. And even if they did, Thor started the fight that cause Im sure a lot of deaths and injuries.

If one doesnt like when heroes do stuff like that I understand. I dont care, but to each their own. Of all the problems I have with the movies and their shortcomings, the autobots being "psycho" are very low on my personal list. But saying the autobots "went psycho" when theyve been like that from the jump is silly to me. Save for Optimus I dont remember them being very traditional, white knight heroic

One of the bost kills that creature for being ugly, the heroes fight each others directly, yet, Optimus Prime just stands and watch them do that, and then one of them talks about how great a leader Optimus is. Prime also makes speeches about freedom, while threatening to kill Grimlock if he doesn't obey.

I just don't see how they had much more personality in Age of Extinction, if the ones in the first 3 films were dangerous caricatures, in the 4th film, they were just more f***d up, they were not any more developed than the bots in the previous films.

To each their own I guess. I didnt find them any more messed up. I mean really infighting with Autobots is a big deal?

But it's whatever to me. I feel that in ROTF and DOTM most of the Transformers were just faceless robots. Didnt really care which ones lived or died besides Optimus. I felt different in AoE. I feel they did have more personality more lines and more to do similar to the first one

While the bots in 4 were designed in a way that differentiated them a little better, i found no reason to root for any of them to survive, in these films, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are the only Autobots that are able to stand from the crowd.

Aside from the bots, i also found Age of Extinction extremely clunky, almost every scene needed comentary, and some of the dialogue was for me the worst in the entire film series: "My face is my warrant", "whenever you look at the stars, think of one of them as my soul". I remember there being some worse lines than the last one i mentioned though.

The humans going after the Autobots wasn't a bad idea in theory, but the way they handle it is terrible, i get it that the main human villain was making a deal for the seed, but why would any of the other military agree to work with Lockdown? One of them was mentioning how he "had a sister who died in Chicago", alright, it does make sence that this man would see the Autobots as being villains too, but then it's revealed that he's working with the much shadier Lockdown.

Lockdown had nothing to do with the war or the battle of Chicago in which the sister was lost. What reason would have too hate Lockdown? Lockdown was killing all of the bots that soldier hated, why wouldn't he work with him!
