which great writer do you want to handle spiderman once slott is done? who who even writes peter parker as an older character.

i hope someone like nick spencer likes him as an older character and i really love cullen bunn's take on peter as well as hickman and fraction and even yost. anyone else you know writes peter as an adult in several mini series and crossovers?

Well for one I hope that Dan Slott isn't going anywhere for at least the next 5 years. Now that ASM is going back to monthly and he's also doing Silver Surfer it's the first indication to me that he is on the back end of his time with Spidey.

That being said Nick Spencer would be the top choice considering the great work he's been doing on Superior Foes. Christos Gage is also proven to grasp the character.

As for other writers....Jason Aaron is one of the few writers that I could trust with Spider-Man. Rick Remender is scaring me lately. We may get more of the latter days of JMS and more Spider-totems and Other storylines with that guy.

does jason write peter as an older character?

and yeah, remender's run would be all twisted but then again spidey has been through worse. i mean he was buried alive buy his enemy for two weeks

He only wrote him once (that I know of) for the Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine book that was very out there. But he also had a cameo in WATXM where he was treated as one of the biggest brains of the Marvel U alongside Reed, Tony and Pym so Aaron understands that Peter is so much more than a struggling photographer living at home.

That's not fair. That's one of the best Spidey stories of all time.

I meant that it can't be worse than what the stuff spidey went through. I love kraven's last hunt

Aloha,
I think Gage is being groomed for a full time position on some Spidey title. When you look at the times he's been the script writer and Slott the plot writer on Amazing, it seems logical.

Spidey rules

I really hope Slott writes it for decades.

He's been written as an adult under Dan Slott's time... So I'm unsure why this particular aspect is being brought up???
