I'm not really a Jean Grey fanatic, but in my honest opinion, she was like the 1 character that they got it right in the movie and she was just amazing.

And call me biased or whatever, its no secret that I'm a Psylocke stan and even Psylocke was like a moving statue for like 2/3 of her screentime, I enjoyed every little moment that she got in the movie and there were some shots that she looked pretty fierce and ferocious! And I guess it was nice seeing her in promotional stuff and marketing, like at the mall, I was like riding a X-Men elevator because like the elevator had X-Men display all over it and Psylocke's face was like on my face so that was cool (I wish I took a picture of it but like I forgot my freaking phone and there were so many X-Men posters in that mall) and hopefully, the people who weren't aware of her before are aware of her name now. Like I asked my mom if she knew Psylocke and she remembered her and I was kinda happy about it. So nothing would make me happier than to see Olivia Munn return as Psylocke in another movie (with a bigger role of course) then blow us away!

Jean. They absolutely nailed her in this film and Sophie gave a great performance. Wish Psylocke was given more to do but I was (relatively) pleased with how she was handled. I'm sure she'll show up in a future movie. Gonna re-read Uncanny X-Force: The Apocalypse Solution for my Psylocke fix.
I've kinda settled for how Storm is portrayed in the movie verse. I want more from her but I've given up hope we'll ever get it.

Oh, you talking about in XMA, Nightcrawler felt most like himself.

I went with all characters option because I truly believe that all were great. I don't get to say this very much about a x-men movie but I feel like every character in this movie, even the ones with just one scene, were very awesome in it. So I have no favorites cause all are.

Tomorrow I'm going to see it for the third time.

I went with Quicksilver, but it was really a toss up between a bunch of characters for me.

Jean, Scott and Nightcrawler were all great.

I also loved Psylocke. I hope she comes back as I want her to be more developed.

I did also like the Ancient Horsemen and their powers.

Storm was a bit of a non-entity in this and though I loved seeing Magneto do more creative stuff with his powers, and loved his emotional scenes, I want a break from his character.

Ororo Munroe aka Storm. She's my favorite character ever.

The young cast of Cyc, Jean, NC and even Storm (although would have liked more from her) were all great and the standouts this time round. I liked Issac as Apoc as well I just wish they had done a bit more with the character.

Quicksilver for me, there's just something very relatable about the character.

It was nice to see a 20 something hero that hasn't set the world ablaze and who doesn't have that cocky thing going on.. When he did his speech in the jet I actually got a bit teary. Here's a guy who thinks he's a loser yet humble enough not to realise that the gift he has and how he uses it makes him the exact opposite.

Nice to see Psylocke in the top five with 8 votes, along with Jean Grey and Cyclops!

Fox if you are watching this thread, focus on those three in the next movie! :D

All, the interactions work better and i believe its what create emotions, when all characters form one. It's making things deeper and the root of the movie is family, it is the way movie makes the most sens to me

Cyclops is cool and strong red lightning eyes

Jean Grey is good and powerful with phoenix form

Psylocke is fast, cold, and she's hot

You're totaly right i forgot about that.
He had a ton of character development didn't he?
oh man and him vs Apocalypse fight was totally awesomesauce, man they really made Evan uber strong.

But I went with TyeClops, just wonderfully developed, and it was great to see him start approaching the leadership role.

But the whole Young Core really were portrayed well.

I wish we got more with Apocalypse, in terms of interaction with World leaders, he was well portray i think as well too.

I really enjoyed Scott/Jean I feel like they finally gotten them right, also I thought Kurt was marvelous, and I really liked Charles/Eric/Raven's story arc plus I hope Jubilee returns. :yay: As for Quicksilver he like stole the show such a awesome character, also I liked Storm, and I thought Beast was fantastic so was Moira/Alex. :yay:

Hands down Jean Grey. Congrats Sophie I'm now a convert.

CYCLOPS!

Shout out to the original Horsemen though, I don't know why I wasn't expecting them to be mutants, but they were surprisingly cool. The fact that death was this super loyal evil looking woman was a nice touch.

It's great that Apocalypse isn't the least bit gender biased. This guy gets it.

I felt six were too many to choose, so I picked four: Storm, Nightcrawler, Caliban, and Magneto. Magneto was as interesting as ever. I loved how both Storm and Nightcrawler were handled. And Caliban was just too much of a fun surprise to ignore.

Honorable mentions go to Scott and Jean.

Dang, I actually forgot about Caliban. He was a nice little addition. That's a good way to use a mutant cameo. Useful to the plot, but not overbearing and had personality.

I like how this thread ranked them in clearly your preferred order. ;)

Anyway, for me it is a toss up between Magneto and Jean Grey. Fassbender by far gave the best performance in the film, elevating what could have played out as comically trite into something heartbreaking and painfully real. He just brought the hammer down and crushed it. However, Jean Grey was my favorite character in the film, because it was the Jean most of us always wanted to see. One who was at the center of things and Xavier's favorite student, but who also has some cosmic power that when revealed at the end of the film is literally blinding.

I also always love McAvoy as Xavier, even though he was more supporting in this one. He is just always so perfect in the role. Tye Sheridan as Cyclops was also good. He didn't get a big moment like Turner, but Cyke again taking a central role (finally) was refreshing and he was the Cyclops I remember from the comics, sans for the fact that he isn't the leader.

I wish I could say I really loved Apocalypse in this film. But as good as Oscar Isaac is at acting even underneath globs of makeup, the screenplay gave him only one great scene (the missile scene). And he is very good there, but Kinberg and Singer dropped the ball on making a very memorable and unique baddie in this movie.

I forgot that this was a poll and you can pick multiple names. I guess I really liked the kids: Jean, Scott and Kurt in that order.

Wanted more from Storm, they could've shown her struggling with what she had done at the end there.

There were some iffy acting from Fassbender, McAvoy. Lawrence trying to convince Erik at the end was really bad.

I wasn't sold on Apocalypse.

I really wasn't expecting it, but Jean Grey ended being my favorite character in the movie. Hell, I really enjoyed the likes of Jean, Scott, and Storm a lot more than their first X-Men trilogy counterparts.
