The Avengers Who is the 8th Avenger?

I suspect Loki fights 8 people, that doesn't mean that they're all Avengers. If you think Nick Fury isn't going to prove why he's the leader, I suspect you'll be quite surprised. Marie or Coulson are likely to get in on the action as well.

My guess is it's Fury.. "we" might not consider him a 'super-hero', but in the parlance of the folks involved in the movie, he might as well be.. Some kind of ultra-secret new hero would have leaked by now..

I guess Pym and or Van Dyne would be the ideal choices since they are the founding members but I really want someone with power like Captain Marvel, which I would go with the the female version since their are enough guys on the team but Mar-vell would be sweet too if the otherworldly villians are the Kree or Skrulls, heck any cosmic threat can be an excuse to bring him in.

I actually think Coulson is better than Norris. Norris is overrated, he's never been in anything super cool. His coolest movie will come out next year *cough*Expendables2*cough*.
