I just read BKV's top 5 of the week and this is what he had to say about issue 4 that just came out.

MOUSE GUARD #4: Some people get pissy when I don't include enough "indy" books in my list, but my Top Five isn't an excuse for me to look hip (clearly) or to mercy plug low-selling comics. I only put books on here if I love them as much (or more, in this case) as I love mainstream stuff like Garth Ennis' PUNISHER (also out this week). Anyway, this anthropomorphic adventure is definitely one of those comics. If your store doesn't order cool **** like Mouse Guard, shop somewhere else.

haven't read #4 yet, but this is a cool little series. The format annoys me though, since they won't fit into a normal comic bag

Yeah, the bag part annoyed me too. I thought I'd have to buy packaged bags and boards for them, but I found out my shop sells singles. Now the fact they won't fit in normal comic boxes annoys me.

Yeah its hard to find around me too and I hae 10 local comic shops. I had to order #3 off ebay.
