Anybody read Shaolin Cowboy

What are your thoughts on it? I love it and think its really funny too. The writer/artist won a Eisner for this book. Brian K Vaughn likes...you wanna be cool like him right,right?

I don't read it, but I flip though it when I see a new issue on the shelf, my God the art is gorgeous.

Nice, did it cost alot?

I bought it from Geof directly, so the answer is "yes, but not nearly as much as I would have paid for it had it been through ebay or an art dealer"

Quitely's first work was in a scottish independent book called Electric Soup in 1990, and his big break was Flex Mentallo, 1996. Darrow was active in a variety of different fields in the 80s, and his big American comics break was Hard Boiled with Frank Miller in 1990

My family weeps when I watch World series of Pop Culture or when they play me in trivial pursuit. I'm king.

I love this book, although the pages tend to really stink and I usually pass out for a few hours whenever I try to read an issue.

That's odd. Usually when I open the book up, my head explodes, then slowly reassembles after a few minutes, then I turn the page and it happens again.

Different effects for everybody. I know a guy, who craps himself, just by looking at the covers. Then goes into epileptic shock upon reading the first two or three words on the first page. I also know this chick, who has a baby every time you say the words "talking donkey". Though, that might have more to do with her past experiences in Mexico than the comic.......

You might be better off just getting the single issues, the books kinda take awhile to come out, so it'll be awhile for the tpb to come out.
