I guess a confirmation. Given that guy works at WB, I think it makes much more sense than him making suggestion on the internet, while WB decides to go for different composer.

Out of all of the options listed here so far, I hope it's Steven Price. If not, what I want is someone that can bring some intelligence and malevolence to the film. I don't want generic RCP action music. And I don't want David Sardy (who has worked on some of Ayer's previous films).

Clint Mansell, Abel Korzeniowski, Mica Levi, Jóhann Jóhannsson or Max Richter would all be great choices.

Well, he did win the Oscar for Gravity so I'd start there. I own the score and loved it.

Due to his collaboration with Ayer on Fury I had a hunch Price would end up scoring Suicide Squad. I hope The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc. follow it's lead with differentiating the scores from one another. The DCCU scores would become trite quickly if only Zimmer and especially Junkie XL were scoring 'em.
