BvS Who should kill the big bad?

If it's Doomsday it will be Superman "Dying" and taking out Dommie with him.

With Supes and Bats already shown snapping necks, it's a no brainer. WW has to snap a neck, it's a requirement to be in the league.

Guys bear with me now but i have this theory....

What if this version of Doomsday is a weaker more newer version then the one from the comics but still strong enough to rival the trinity.

What if at the end of the battle Superman throws him to the deepest corners of space where he eventually learns to adapt to newer more harsher environments and threats of the universe (like in the comics)

Then once he's at an all time high prime in strength he returns to earth with only one simple goal: Kill Superman

Thus the death of Superman story can fully happen in a future MoS seguel

That's IF there even is a "Big Bad". I've seen no evidence yet that there is.

Probably be Batman.....with enough prep time :-P.

Couldn't that just be referring to Luthor though. I mean, I think there will be a physical threat, but it isn't a forgone conclusion.

I really don't want to see the death of Superman in this movie, because that would mean Tobias was actually right about something. I can't deal with that sh**.

No his schtick was they'd kill Supes and he'd comeback near the end of JL1 and no one would give a damn.

I don't want to see that either. And no matter how convinced some Superman fans are that he'll die in this movie, I really don't see it happening. Even if Doomsday is rumored to be the big physical threat. I want the whole trinity alive and ready for JL by the end of this movie.

Yeah, same here. I still maintain that even if you're trying to be serious and give the movie a weight that lighter fare like the Marvel films don't have, you still shouldn't end a huge movie like this on a down note.

(Unless of course the writers have Tobias' mindset that everyone hates Superman anyway and wants to see him die.)

I kind of think the terminology of 'a new threat arises' means something different than Doomsday.

Doomsday doesn't 'arise' as a villain... he just appears and mindlessly starts destroying things. Arises to me has a connotation of something that's sort of been there a while but without people knowing it was a real threat at first.

Like I think if it was Doomsday they'd say something like 'a new threat appears' or something.

Maybe i'm over thinking the word though...

Well, if they follow his comic book origin, Doomsday literally was there for a long time without anyone noticing (he was buried far underground for a long, long time).

But El Mayimbe said this week that the mystery villain is Doomsday and even described a fight sequence between him and Wonder Woman. So there you have it - 100% confirmation that Doomsday is not in the movie. :D

Jonathan. His ghost returns riding the tornado that killed him. Spectre confirmed.

Tornado ghost: Clark, you didn't not try hard enough to not save me. Maybe.

He should exclaim "goodbye cruel blockbuster movie" and jump off the cliff, committing suicide.

No, it didn't, bro.

So who/what is the threat that put's mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before? It's already seen Zod so it's someone bigger. Read those words' and think about. It aint Lex. Lex is big but he aint a "mankind" level threat.
