Who would play Sabretooth? Keep Mane or get new blood? Triple H? No Wrestlers?

I think Ron Perlman could be an interesting Sabretooth. He's got the acting chops plus he's physically big enough for the role
I've actually brought up this choice before but the fanboys went nuts about recasting. Anyway, yeah, I'd love to see Perlman as Sabretooth if they get a taller stunt double and pull a Lord of The Rings. I think they're either the same height (Perlman and Jackman) or Hugh is taller. Not sure. But they were able to make Perlman 6'6 in Hellboy so maybe they can add 4 inches.

For the character he'd be perfect though. Him and Michael Wincott (Top Dollar in The Crow).

Jackman's height is 6'2" and a half, while the Ultimate version of Wolverine stands at 5'9".

Original Marvel's Wolverine is supposed to be 5'3 but he is always drawn like hes 5'8.

I always thought of that too. Truthfully from most comic angles and drawings you can tell he's smaller but if he were only a few inches smaller it would not be noticed. I don't think the height in the movie is an issue. I would like Hugh to be smaller and Perlman to be 7 feet but oh well. I'm satisfied and pushing for Perlman.

I got to hand it to The Comedian he maybe new (just like me) but he was right on the money with that pick. Very well picked.

This goes to prove that just cause your a "noob", and I've been called it a million times, doesn't mean people should discredit your point of view. Once again good find The Comedian.

Thanks, for the compliment, but I'm not that new, I was here for two years before this with a different username that I didn't use much

and here's some pics for those unfamiliar with Perlman

I say bring back Tyler Mane.....He didn't do a bad job, he did a good job for the way the character was written and stuff....

No Cast Changes Please.

ya, I guess a recast, or changing the character too much, wouldn't be that good of an idea
if Sabretooth is in the movie (I still have doubt he even will be in it) keep him the same (maybe some slight character improvements, and or development) but, have it consistent with the first movie, if this is suppose to be a semi prequel

But bringing in Ron Perlman is definitely an upgrade in acting ability and looks.

I can see anyone of those two play as Sabretooth. I always also thought that Kevin Nash could pull of Sabretooth too.

I would like someone who will actually do the stunts. Perlman is good and all, perfect voice for the character, but his face isn't shaped the way it should. I guess the Muppet shaped mouth just kinda irks me, lol.

LOL, :D

I got a new name with a great look but he's only 6'2 and isn't wide enough but check him out. Nick Chinlund.

I love this one of Ron Perlman, too.

Yeap, pretty much. And he's Hellboy and Beast from the Beauty and the Beast series on TV in the 80's and 90's.

Triple H As Sabertooth Would Be Awesome. He's A Very Decent Actor. As For The Look I Think He Has It

I'm a huge HHH fan, and I think he'd be good for Sabretooth. But i dont see it happening for 2 reasons
1.) Mane is already under contract to appear as Sabretooth for at least another film
2.) I've heard they want to start filming around January. There is no way Vince McMahon is going to write one of his biggest stars out of storylines to do a movie around this time, because its the start of the build-up to Wrestlemania.

But otherwise, I'd rather have HHH be Sabretooth. That or maybe Test.

I don't know about that but he does have the look.

I know you guys said no wrestlers, but at least consider Kevin Nash. He was that big russian guy in that awful Punisher movie, and although that movie stunk his fight scene with Thomas Jane was the most entertaining part of that stinkfest. He was also the overly sensitive prison gaurd in The Longest Yard with Adam Sandler, he was hilarious in that movie. That experience with comedic acting should come in handy when portraying Sabretooth, he does have one twisted sense of humor. On top of everything else, Kevin Nash stands at roughly 7 ft and he's got plenty of girth, unlike the tall and lanky Sabretooth from X-1. I think choosing a bonified actor for the role is being a bit unrealistic. Sure Ron Perlman makes for a great character but he's gonna be doing Hellboy 2 he's not going to have the time.
