Who Would you cast as Captain America?

Paul Walker brings nothing to the table besides blue eyes and blonde hair. It takes more than that to play Cap.

Back in the Fast and Furious day I considered him the blond David Hasselhoff, but he wasn't half bad in "Running Scared". He's improving his acting skills. The same can't be said of Tom Welling who's still a stone faced pretty boy.

Avi Arad wants to cast Paul Walker.

Paul Walker is the poor man Keanu Reeves. Walker would of made a good Johnny Storm.

Who's that again? EDIT: Oh wait, found him. Excellent choice, my friend. ..And if he doesn't get the role and can do a good german accent, I'd like him as Red Skull as well. Can't really put my finger on why.

Oh and Ralph Fiennes for Red Skull. Either him or Tim Roth. Those guys can rrreeeally play evil and, who am I kidding, they're just flat out creepy looking people imo.

Liev would have made a great Harvey Dent (wish they would have got him), but I'd have to warm up to him as Cap. He is talented, but I am not sure on that choice.

Ralph Fiennes would make an excellent Red Skull also. Come to think of it, so would Tim Roth. Really wouldn't be disappointed with either of them or Bettany.

As for Paul Walker as Cap, he doesn't have the acting ability. I want a good actor to land the role of Cap, not a pretty boy/wrestler type..

Much taller than Matt Damon. Able to open movies as a lead actor. Has done action before. Is MUCH TALLER THAN MATT DAMON. This is THE CHOICE in my opinion.

I spend every single waking moment casting superheroes in my head. You have to take into account, the project itself, the medium, the budget, the roles the actor/actress has done before ect... Its quite exhausting really

In terms of the perfect look,

the best person is Jason Lewis, He looks he just stepped out of a comic book just like Chris Reeve.

I think he was born to play this role,

Jason Lewis is the best choice in my opinion,

second would be Matt Mconaughay,

i don't like Matt Damon as Captain america, his face looks too rugged and not handsome enough for a captain america role.

Why? Did you see the Marine? That just showed his crap acting. He is too thugish to play a character born of the 1940's. Cap's actor needs to be able to act like a man who's friends and family are for the most part dead and is alone in the new world. Cena is a distant nothing. Looks do not equal Captain America.
