Who would you cast as Captain Marvel?

I have my own ideas but just curious to know what the consensus would be.
For a Kingdom come I'd say Vincent Di'Nofero
For today I'd could see either the Chief from Battlestar Gallactica or Billy Zane. Maybe Senetor Pertrelli(sp?) from Heroes

In fact I even think the Rock would be good at playing the part of a boy trapped in a he-man's body. After seeing him on SNL and even in the otherwise atrocious movie, Be Cool (for which he was the best part), I see his over the top humor would be great for Captain Marvel

I wouldn't mind Rock as Adam. There are still probably some more suitable actors, but it's better than Rock as Marvel.

I think that he could pull off the pure-hearted and childlike personalty of Captain Marvel. He also has the look down pretty good.

I don't mind billy zane either just I think warburton would be a great choice too. Zane would have to bulk up alot and i also think he would work as either Capt Marvel or Black Adam.

Okay we're trying to make Cap too small here. Warburton is the best idea I've seen yet. I still like D'Onofrio for Kingdom Come and Warburton as Kingdom Come Supes.

I still say the Rock. People don't give this guy near enough credit as an actor. He has charisma, he has charm, he has great screen pressence...and just like Arnold, he puts his heart and soul into what he does. His movies may suck, but everyone he personally is good in. He is always the best part. Furthermore the whole notion of Captain Marvel is he is a kid turning into what every kid wants to be...a superhero with huge honking muscles. And what kid doesn't want to look like the Rock.

Furthermore, the Rock has the ability to come off as very naive. I don't mean this as an insult. But if you watch the characters he plays, especially when he was on SNL (see: Superman skit). He does these overally idealic, almost abscenet minded strong men very well. I think the makers of the Johnny Bravo film, of which he will star, agree.

Okay that did nothing to help your argument.But what would you say to him playing Conan?
