That's naive.
I never said that the famous HAD to. But should they? Absolutely.
That is basically saying they have to. C'mon, "should they, absolutely". Hell no! If I were rich and just wanted to go about my life having fun I should be able to and for anyone to judge me would be bull**** on their part. Mainly because their not God(for the believers out there), my dad, or well.....me!
They're the ones that can influence, and like it or not there are people in the world that will look up to them.
That has always been a point I hated, just because your in the spotlight does not mean you should have to alter your lifestyle for the damn kiddies. It's the parents responsibility to teach them right or wrong.
Do we really want them looking up to Paris?
Of course not, she isn't even close to being a role model. My point is she doesn't have to be. Being famous, no matter how much the papperazi(sp?) wants us to think it is does not instantly mean you have to alter your life because people might follow suit with your actions.
I have a life of my own. A life and responsibilities. And as someone who's more in the public eye, Paris has more responsibilities than me...and yet she doesn't seem to grasp that.
I wasn't attacking directly at you with the whole no life thing. It's just a lot of people spend too much time obsessing over others lives instead of their own. Once again, just because she's in the public eye doesn't mean she has to change her lifestyle like a slave for the masses. Being famous does not mean you have more responsibilities in any way than your average person.
As for jealously, that's not funny at all.
I'm not directly saying you are jealous, if that's what you thought by your statement about jealousy being not funny at all. I meant was thats a fact of human nature. People love to judge others to make themselves feel better
all the time. A lot of the time it's towards people who they are jealous of, usually famous people because they acheived in life as opposed to the person who is judging them.
Just because she's wealthier and has more financial freedom? Oh yeah, I'm real jealous of someone who's the laughing stock of nearly an entire generation. She just got out of jail for a DUI, which was hilariously followed by driving with a suspended license, and she's the poster child for "young hollywood," which when coupled with unecessary sequels and remakes represents the downfall of the industry.
Like above, didn't mean you are directly jealous of her. In general it's people who are jealous of people who have acheived in life. She is an exception since I agree, you would have to be dumb or shallow to be jealous of her after all her crap.
Hilton's a prime example that you no longer have to have talent to be an actress. An actress and a celebrity are two things that couldn't be more different.
She's not an actress, she may have been in a film or two. That doesn't make her an actress in my book. She is simply a socialite, someone who is famous because their rich, kinda like Donald Trump, or even Hugh Hefner(sp?).
It is their life...a life that they knew coming into celebrity would be put on display for everyone to see. And they think they're NOT going to be judged?
That's my problem with our ****ty ass society as a whole. Just about everyone as I stated above now days thinks their **** don't stink. They love to judge anyone to make themselves feel better and superior. I'm sure they realize that their life is going to be put on display, that's just a sad fact with what I mentioned earlier about some people who have no lives because they just focus on others with gossip and bull****.
But you're right. I could care less about the exploits of a superficial heiress, and had she not been mentioned in this thread, I wouldn't have bothered.
And I'm not going to anymore...
