Honestly I think it depends on what you are looking for in a story. Men and women both look at the world in different ways and focus on certain aspects that the other gender may not. All in all I don't think you can say which writes better, only judge each author based on their work.

the question isn't fair though. since the beginning of written history, men have been the dominant script keepers while women were viewed as the caretakers of the home and children. men have had hundreds of years head start on education before women. along with philisophy. honestly i only read male writers though. the only female writer i've read is anne rice cause im such a cool goth kid...but i will tell you one thing men are better than women at....stand up comedy
