Why Can't we Quote Quotes?

Let's say Poster B quotes Poster A. When poster C quotes Poster B, why isn't Poster A's quote enabled too?

This is a major contributing factor.

However, I'm actually quite glad SHH has this feature. It prevents redundancy, especially if quotes get re-quoted 498750345239 times, it makes a really long quote chain. And long chains aren't really neccessary, because 90% of the time, the previous posts are right above you. PMs still work this way though.

Because lets say someone comments a manip and quotes the image

If the second person quotes him for additional info, there will be two replica images. If a third person quotes the 2nd person, the process repeats.

More people would be deleting the other quote than using it. How is that worth it????
