The thing people forget to consider when watching these things is how they would feel if it was someone they love exposed in such a gruesome way.

The jihad beheading stuff is improbable, but I mean the car accident videos, the roadkill videos and things that happen daily.

This might seem a bit rambling, but if someone I loved were exposed in such a gruesome way, I doubt I would even consider similar videos I'd seen on the Internet. The grief and anxiety would overshadow everything else. That is why I believe people forget to take that into consideration.

I doubt I would think of it in a moment of bereavement, but if I was standing at the foot of a mangled loved on and I saw a ****er capturing the moment on his cellphone, I'd like to think I rip his throat out.

The 2 kids 1 sandbox video's title hardly makes any sense, and it isn't that bad, not that I'd do it to myself or anything.

You are sheltered than... I do mostly agree with the OP, but there are a few differences. Somewhere out there, not providing a link, but there is a website about documenting the bad crap that happens, and while there are fake videos, there are quite a few involoving men, women, children, animals, etc. I have not been there myself, though several friends have and I just cannot bring myself to watch stuff like that, especially with kids. Some of the tamer stuff, like 2 girls 1 cup can actually be pretty hilarious as a prank on your friends, but self-mutilation, the stuff I mentioed above, etc is just too much.

Bubonic: I wouldn't give a darn (member of the No Cursing Club now) if someone videotaped a tragedy. I would be too overtaken with bereavement to care. The death would likley linger onward and push that out of my mind, to be honest.
