whats wrong with the america part, most of their activities take place in america, they have an embassy in the american capital, nearly all the members are either born or raised in America, the greatest country on any earth.

the united nations are based in new york- you don't see that affect things. Justice League is a world assisting organisation last time i checked. They are born or raised in america because america is predominant in DC comics over any other nation anyway. well not really because thats not how you spell britannia. Marvel has Shield and Strike but is it really necessary when you can just have one team? Then australia, germany and the french would want one... You can only imagine It would be like CSI- justice league:cameroon

The US was founded on a bunch of *****ers and moaners who wouldn't pay their taxes to a government that only wanted them to shoulder a little of the financial burden of THEIR OWN PROTECTION. What a profound and invigorating culture.

Yes, they pissed and moaned and boarded luxury ships and came to the new land, giving up their own protection for the rich lifestyle that awaited them here. They never had to fight (and WIN) against said government they wouldn't pay their taxes to (guess that whole "without representation" part slipped your little mind) and took the "EASY" way out by coming to America where they already had everything they wanted just waiting for them.

It's more of a tradition thing though. The Justice League of America is pretty much the successor organization to the Justice Society of America (sorta like the League of Nations and United Nations). Putting Justice [insert group here] of America is their way of paying homage to the Golden Age heroes.

Although seeing a group like the Justice League of Russia would be a good idea.

In the US, one is called a "reverse racist" (as if such a thing could even exist) for mentioning reparations to descendants of slaves, and the American Indians have been shoveled off into desolate, wasted spaces known as "reservations." In Australia, on the other hand, aborigines get specialized social welfare services and payments, with an ongoing effort to make these services more applicable to the culture (although the current ultraconservative Howard administration is sabotaging some of this), and for several decades now, aborigines have been in control of their own territories under the Native Title law.

The working stiffs were either Tories who knew what was good for them, or uneducated serfs that were lied to and manipulated into fighting a war that could have no possible benefit to them. You're right. The French did. Well, the colonists fought, but they didn't win. George Washington is more famous for running away than for winning battles. The French won the Revolution. They were just nice enough not to take America while they were at it.

No, my Mennonite answers came over in the late 1800s, and my Jewish ancestors in the early 1900s. In both cases, it was because people were killing them in their homelands.
