Superman Returns Why Don't Some Superman Fans Like Superman Returns?

I see we are still replying to me El payoso. Look. You are on my banned list. You are wasting your time. I am not going to be reading your stuff. I am tired of your nonsense. I am tired of your virtual stalking here. You go your way, I and I will go mine. We aren't going to change each others minds, so there is no point in talking anymore. Go stalk someone else.

Someome mail the admninistrators, the ignore button's not working. :)

Welcome to the club! Remember Payaso, I was on that list first!

Man, I fail to get into the list. :csad:

Most fans I talked to LOVED Superman Returns by the way....heck, they even came up with a site FILLED with SR love!

http://www.bluetights.net/

Oh yes. Many fans loved SR. Not that I didn't know before going into bluetights.

Ah no. They actually came out and said it. It was in the interview where they talked about the approved body type for the suit. This approved body type was based on a survey. Really this is really old news did. Catch up to speed. The muscle suits were made, and before Brandon was cast based on the approved body type from the survey, and they had to use it. They even state on the DVD, the trainer states it, and it is common knowledge. They had a pre-determined boyd type that they had to go with.

Yet Bryan said he'd never seen Brandon with his shirt off? I still doubt it.

Bluetights was made back in the days before Singer was even on board. It was made for fans to put up movie trailers and other assortments of fan made stuff. It eventually bloomed into what it is now, and what a shocker, most people on their like Superman Returns. Its like finding Star Wars fans at a Star Wars site. But you'll also find your share on there that don't like it as well.

Can't see whats not to like. It was a very good movie. Its strenth resides in its dialogue more than action.

No it wasn't. :whatever: It was made in '04.

But it was made before Singer an co. were on board. I remember hearing about McG's departure from one of Bluetights sites.

Mmm, I can't remember. It was really close though. I think McG was already off the project. Anyway, doesn't much matter.

And Singer sooo sucks.

No, it had been out for awhile. Me and other oldbies of this forum had been submitting trailers quite awhile before Singer was announced. Paradoxium, and Incredible Hulk were some of the first.

That's pretty sad since there was almost no dialogue whatsoever and what there was was lifted from Superman: The Movie.

I used to be close to BT. He would show me the pages as he created them, before he launched the site. I was thinking it was during that time that Singer was announced, but maybe not. It's too long ago to remember.

Are para and hulk still around? The names ring a bell, now that you mention them. I had forgotten, para used to give me so much crap. :cmad:

Yeah, it was around way before. They were the offical site for Singer and SR with officail video blogs like kongisking was for Jackson and King Kong. And I do remember for a while posters who were against SR in any way were immediately banned from the site. So it isn't a wonder that it is filled with SR lovers.

Heh heh. And Superman/Clark Kent had maybe 20 lines the whole movie. In a movie called "Superman" you gotta wonder.

Thank you. I think he is a good director, just not for Superman.

And he may even be able to direct a good Superman movie, but he cannot have any creative control on the story, that is the biggest problem with his version of Superman.

Because of course the intensity of a character and its interpretation depends in a direct proportion of the amount of words he says. :oldrazz:
