Why is Hype so slow?

It is also random during the day. As sometimes the forum completely shuts down for a few seconds & it is laggy as hell right now so it looks like it is heading into day time territory

i think to help the problem there should be a one time 5 dollar membership fee to those who want to join the forum. a non-member can view the forums, but not be active in them. this will not only give the site money to pay for an efficient server, but it will also make sure the site isnt clogged with trolls, multiple accounts, etc....

it wouldnt even be a bad idea to have all curent members pay the one time fee to maintain membership. its a mere 5 bucks, and it'd be a good way to kick start the funds.

The lag has been driving people away as it is, adding a fee on top of that could kill this forum.

As it stands now, I think the site makes money through advertisements already around the boards. (I could be wrong though.)

but it's been shutting down on and off for the past couple of weeks now so I doubt it

I'm trying to remain optimistic here but damn, this can't keep happening. Pretty soon so many people will leave, the site's going to eventually shut down for good

This forum is most definitely not pay to post worthy. Especially in its G Rated State

Hahahahaha! Yeah we'll give them $5 for servers and they'll just end up pocketing the money for themselves, just like the ad revenue.
