The radio stations keep playing the same damn songs over and over again. And i mean just this one station. They play rhe same freaking songs. they play like 10 songs or so over and over again!

That's corporate America for you. The producers think that they'll keep the most listeners by playing the most popular songs most frequently, which pleases the sponsors, who they need to keep from going under.

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

Shakira - Hips Don't Lie (God i hate that song now)

All American Rejects - Dirty Little Secret (I Like the group but the song is annoying after awhile)

K.T. Tunstall- Black Horse & The Cherry Tree(I Hate this one even more than the shakira one)

Sean Paul- Temperature (What the hell is the guy saying) I also hate that other Song from that dance movie Step up. (It's just a bunch of jibber jabber)

...and that's the reason I refuse to listen to any radio station. I usually listen to either Country or Rock and Counrty Stations are the worst. Every other artist seems to be Toby Keith....and if you request something old they refuse to play it.

When they are doing their listener's choice, call and ask for a song even from 6 months ago. They will probably tell you they can't and ask you to suggest one of the current songs, so they can record it and play it 2 weeks later.

It's part of the illusion of radio, it's really fake radio. Why they seemed to have that song cued up as soon as that the girl asked for it. Wow.

I listen to talk radio in the morning and on the way home. If I want to listen to music I listen to my ipod or one of the alternative stations.

The station you listen to is the typical Z Morning Zoo, popular teenage bop music. Turn off the radio, listen to your cds or switch it to a less ridiculous station.

Rarely listen to radio,I have free Sirrus in the Jeep.
I wake up to the radio and that's it. If I'm feeling tolerable I'll listen to the radio in the car,doesn't happen often.
I listen to so many genres it's hard to hear the same song over and over. I can't stay on one station. I don't bother pre-setting.

i don't listen to the radio...but if they're playing snow patrol's set the fire to the third bar..then they're doing something good. definitly best song on that album.

when the radio starts playing negative approach, dystopia and black flag...i'll start listening.

Most of those big contests are nationwide and not exclusive to your city. So you aren't playing against a few thousand, probably mostly a few hundred thousand.

The smaller contests, that give away concert tickets and t-shirts are pretty much straight forward.
