Why Is The Lounge Back In The Community Forum?

So I would just like to ask any mod the titular question, because correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't y'all agree the lounge was only there to boost post counts, in a mind numbingly lazy and boring fashion?

Just to get a little perspective I'll also post a poll to find out where everyone would rather the lounge was.

Edit: as the b****bag below pointed out, I misspelled Community in the poll, but you all know what I mean.

Agreed, let them keep their precious post counts for this Lounge, then set a new precident for future ones by insisting they go in the Diner.

The lounge gets a bad name, but it's because some abuse it - some are never out of there. I used to go in there myself, when there were some good posters in there having banter. But, alas, the banality of the conversation made me see what it had becaome. Now you won't see me near the place.

I'm all for fun banter... but that is not the case in there anymore.

Same for me, I used to be in there quite a bit, but I've not posted once in this latest one. It's such a thread of routine and repetition, and that does not contribute towards anything interesting. I've noticed since avoiding it, that I haven't bumped into particular people anywhere else on the Hype

I've gotta admit , I'm pretty much the same, about this time last year I was a pretty loserish lounger, but by new year I started edging away and never looked back, I mean I may not be the most popular hyper, but I am no longer in the JAL/ Kal/Rando leagues.

But that is very defensive of you, and quite untue - at least for me. I couldn't give a sh** about postcount. I like banter. I have good banter with yourself, BluTac, Jack, Knowsbleed... so on. A lot of people on the hype I have a lot of fun with.

But the lounge just has the same people in it all the time, and if I don't enjoy talking to them... what's the point of going in there? I say something *insert 2 pages of 'hello'* and then MAYBE I'd get a reply.

It's not the lounge I dislike, tricky, it's posters who abuse it. And even when I went in the lounge, I never abused it: If I don't have anything to say, I don't post.
