Mass Effect 3 Wii U Screenshots
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/08/03/mass-effect-3-wii-u-screenshots.aspx

EA released screenshots of the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3. The publisher said yesterday the game will be a launch title for the Wii U when it launches this holiday. This version includes bonus download content, included the new Extended Cut ending. it also includes interactive stories for Mass Effect 1 and 2 where decisions you make in those carry over into the third game.

How many people in this thread are actually stoked to play Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham City on the Wii U? If so, did you only own a Wii last year?

I'll be happy when they are no longer toting year old games as a great launch lineup and actually get to the new stuff... though I suspect any real "next gen" games won't come out for this until Sony and Microsoft release their consoles next year.

I wonder if the comic for ME1 will be the same as the PS3 one. Most likely. I wish they had these offered on ALL platforms.

Nice.

I'm excited to play ME3 and B:AC on WiiU. Due to tight budget, I wasn't able to buy ME3 for PS3 when it came out, and by the time I saved enough to get it, the game was already announced for WiiU. So I've held off. With B:AC, I'm a Batman fan and it gives me an excuse to replay the game again.

I've had a Wii since launch, and the games I have for it have been great.

I think that it's a good move for Nintendo to bring these games to their console, as it shows that people can get that experience from cross-platform, while having the Nintendo exclusive experience as well. Developers are going to look to make more money, so why not make it off of popular titles that are still fresh in people's minds. If it were titles from over three years ago, then I would agree.

I have no interest in those games. I have them already. I want a Wii U but I will be waiting before I buy one. I am waiting for Smash Brothers, Mario Kart etc before I buy one. By then the few launch games I do want to play. Will also be cheaper

Rayman is coming out on Christmas Day? What a stupid decision

Have they mentioned how the WiiU controller is powered? That thing looks like its going to be a battery hog. I wonder if you can turn the screen off to save juice

Whoever had the bright idea to release Rayman om Christmas day... A day every store is closed... Should be fired.

That's just Europe though. The rumor is that WiiU will be delayed to December there.

I'm betting that Rayman is just a timed exclusive.

That Batman cover would be cool if it wasn't for that awful electricity crap.

Its still dumb. Who the heck is going out shopping for gifts on Christmas Day? It would make more sense to release it a week earlier or wait till January

Podcast

Episode 6: The Summer Drought Has Ended!

It’s the NSFW Edition. This week: Vic and Scott swear a record 32 times down on The Basement. No kidding. If you have sensitive ears, or if you’re our moms, use caution when listening. Also: there’s one unfortunate reference to buttholes and one reference to “ramming tongues.” Scott also does a dramatic reading of The Press Release Of The Week (this one provided by Reviews host Ben Silverman) (thanks, Ben!). And Mad Dog McCree is officially banned from all future episodes of Reviews on the Run and EP. Why? Listen to unravel the mystery.

There's talk on the wiiU on this pod cast so I thought I put up here as well. BTw there's a bit of swearing so if your not used to it my apologies. but if your of the giant bomb crowd/audience well this is tame for you all. just giving fare warning.

So are a lot of you excited for this?

I've been a life long Nintendo fan, but I'm just not pumped for this system. Having a controller with a screen doesn't do much for me. Is that the only new thing this has over the Wii?

I'll get it at launch because the Wii was so hard to find early. Honestly, I'm kind of done with consoles now that I have a gaming PC that I can upgrade in the future. The WiiU is probably it for me, might buy a PS4 down the road if a Kingdom Hearts game ever comes out for it.
