Zas really does come across as an 80s movie villain who wants to kick out all the poor people in the neighborhood so he can build condos

Because trying to sell it was a PR lie. They knew no one was gonna buy it. Vermin. To me, this move doesn't seem very logical. He was going to shelve the film for a $30 mill tax break so why should he logically expect other studios/streaming to pay $70-$80 mill for a movie that he didn't even want to release. If you devalue your own product, you can't expect others to pay massive amounts of money for it.
Who's defending this? WB shareholders? The fact people are defending Zaslav and this action online is just disgusting. Imagine being that kind of pathetic, sniveling bootlicker - Daddy isn’t going to share his unearned, parasitic fortune with you.

I have the feeling someone will answer this IMMINENTLY.Who's defending this? WB shareholders?
Wrong, from Mr Bag O'Dicks himself:

[here we go, forgot how to post twitter links]I don't think anyone is defending WB lol
I do find some of the conclusions being ran to funny though. Zaslav will apparently shelve PTA's film any day now.
He has made it abundantly clear that he looks down on the animation medium, moreso than the rest of Hollywood which is saying something. It almost feels like Zaslav hates the film and has a personal vendetta against it, because there is nothing that is good business about this move.
I was under the impression that boycotting a studio for not releasing a product that you want to see was a bad, and even selfish, thing to do.So far I'm only seeing folks boycotting this decision, which is good. Anyone defending this should have no say in the matter of film.
Also starting to feel an animation strike might be inevitable.
I'm assuming James Gunn is still going to keep quiet given that he had a producing credit in this.

How can James Gunn expect to get anywhere with the DC Universe when he does this?
Why would Chris Nolan want to go back to WB when their top executives make decisions like this?
