Will Children of Men and/or Pan's Labyrinth get a wide release???

I'd really like to see both of those, but the only theaters playing them are about an hour away.

I have already seen COM, great movie and I hope soon there will be SE on DVD.

What about Pan's Labyrinth, I hope they will release it on DVD as soon as it's possible.

Children of Men will expand to 1,200 theatres on January 5th. I don't know about Pan's Labyrinth.

Children of Men is pretty much ignored....I haven't seen anything about it on the internet. We got it in October...

A shame about the limited release. It truly is a jaw-dropping film.

I can't believe CoM didn't come out in the fall?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! They were running the trailers in October, and the movie looked stunning.

Furthermore, it has received mostly great reviews...I just don't get it??

Maybe the studio thought it was too much of a "gamble" movie in an already bloated Fall Movie schedule.

More confirmation on Picturehouse films( the distributors ) forums an adminstrator says it will be in more theaters on the 12th and 19 .

Yes! Pan's Labyrinth will open in additional cities on January 12th, and even more cities on January 19th. Keep an eye on your local listings and make sure to see the film on the big screen!

I hope that it plays in my area the local newspaper keeps saying there is no release scheduled here.
