Only like two people said it sucked. The movie is great. I'll admit, it's not as good in the the third act but this is very common in comedies. They're freaking great in their two acts, but when the action and plot all goes down and kicks in, they have to get to that, so it's more difficult to do as much jokes.

I only like the first 15-20 mins of this film after that it was just dumb.

The movie was horrible. I have no idea why people found it somewhat decent. At all.

Really? Did you just decide to ignore the pages before you commented? There are plenty of reasons people liked it.

I hate when people make comments like this. I hate Transformers ROTF with a passion and yet I understand why people like it.

Well yeah ^ that's easy. And pretty much everyone who likes ROTF thinks it's a horrible movie. If they dont, they're idiots.

I liked it. But it's horrible. I just dug the bots, splosions, and cleavage. :hehe:

It was a different movie for a change... [BLACKOUT]Getting bribed with the tickets was great and them realizing it later was classic. The cops letting the school kids pass around the guns was one of the best scenes.[/BLACKOUT]

I dont see how this movie was any different from Step Brothers, or Land of the Lost....

I dont get how its the same other than Will Ferrell is in it

Will Ferrell played a different character which was refreshing. A timid office geek instead of a man child is a welcome change.

I'll reiterate that the movie was really good for the first hour but the jokes seemed forced towards the latter half of the movie. Mark Wahlberg's attempt at humor came off extremely forced. I wonder how many takes that had to get with him to get his humor across.

Not much I don't think. He was pretty goddamn funny in The Departed. Maybe I just have a dark sense of humor.

"Who the **** are you?"

"I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy."

Timid??? The dude was a wacko! His character was just the same. The shy crazy/creepy/whatever guy, who is actually clinicly insane.

Whoever wrote the pimp stuff needs to be shot in the hands.

I find Will Ferrell to be extremely hit and miss but I loved him in this movie. I will agree though all that pimp stuff was really stupid and could have been easily cut since the movie was a bit too long.

I thought it wa shilarious tha the was unknowingly turning into a pimp but developing an alternate personality was unecessary.

also yeah this was nothing like Land of the Lost or Step Brothers unless you consider they are both comedies and will ferrel stars in them

LMAO he was awesome in The Departed. Favorite line right here:

"Maybe"

"Maybe Not"

"Maybe go **** Yourself"

My favorite scene was when
They were like Aim for the Bushes lmao

The pimp stuff was hilarious. And aside from a few scenes Will Ferrell's character is fairly normal compared to his last few comedies. Alan was a bit neurotic, but he wasn't crazy and was competent.

"Gator's b****es better be wearing jimmys!"

The pimp stuff was great

"My theory on feds? Treat 'em like mushrooms . . . feed 'em s*** and keep 'em in the dark."

But my favorite (Between him and Alec Baldwin)

"How are you?"

"Tired from f***in' your wife."

"F*** you. How's your mother?"

"Tired from f***in' my father"
