Will Heroes become the New ER

yeah 10 seasons really would make this type of tv series tiring, it prob would of used every clique in the book and every overused storyline if they wanted to last that long. once they use clones for an explaination for a particular event, i'll start lossing respect for their writers. lol

3-5 seasons seems to be a fair good amount

or better yet, since the show's format has many similarities with comics, why not just do some "mini-series" that link in continuity to the main show, two or three episode mini movies relating to the main cast or to peripherial things that happen

That could work too, which makes me think of a few things with Smallville in mind and how comics can end series and almost immediately start another one for a fresh start.

As Smallville approached the end of the 4th year and they were graduating from high school, I really wanted the show to be rebranded as Metropolis and then alter the shows identity a bit from young Clark growing up to him growing into a hero. It seems after so many years of the same thing you just need a change, a fresh start. Now I see another opportunity with the show leading into the formation of the Justice League, they should just end Smallville and rebrand it Justice or something along those lines, again it would be the same thing but with a fresh start. I can see Heroes doing something like this after a few years.

Another thing I'd love to see is a TV show leading into a movie, but with proper timing, like the shows season ending in the spring and the movie coming out in the summer, continuing and capping whatever plot the TV show was leading too. I don't know if that would piss people off having to pay for a movie to get all the answers they need, but it'd be great to end on a bang with a bigger budget on the big screen.
