I thought SR was a fantastic movie......Singer feels the same........you disagree.......we don't care.....another movie will get made......we'll love it again........you'll probably hate it........we still won't care.

And why do you just assume they are going to make a sequel for a movie that they still need to re-coup nearly 100 million on just to break even on....

You may want to look in that mirror when attacking other people opinions about SR because your overzealous defense of it is just as bad as a haters there were no good parts in it line.

The haters have to realize that the film was not Showgirls, and the lovers have to realize the film is not The Godfather. It's a mediocre films that borders on both bad and good, so opinions will vary between perceptions.

all the good was replicated from Stm except the doofy kitty/lex land grab plot. It's a very nostalgia reliant film.

He'll never admit to the film's failures. The problem is, it's not a terrible movie, if it was he could laugh about it someday. It's a mediocre movie at best, it has some brilliance but it fails on so many levels. You can't admit to being mediocre, it just doesn't work.

The haters hate it too much and the lovers won't admit to the films failings. This isn't really a debate any more, it's a religion.

The movie makes me wonder if that's true. I can see loving the kid because he's awesome and throws pianos which is even more awesome, but the whole thing? there's few parts I liked where Lex was throwing coconuts and yelling, I remember the thing with Richard in the office and Jimmy eating a taco was funny... I can't begin to see loving it though. It's a remix and very depressing to me as a fan that a lot of it doesn't really make sense to me. I remember when fanastic four came out and I was on those boards, people were loving it, and I said to myself, wtf kind of person would love this? And I think I got into an argument with someone about why I didn't bother seeing fantastic four, because I knew I'd feel cheated out of a better movie because fox doesn't respect the comicbook movie genre. They struck gold with X2, but even that I realize has some issues. I remember seeing macy gray in the cheese-fest spider-man 1 and being very let down by that, I kid you not, only for the sequel to be better so why waste money on the first? But still there were many swearing I should go see it because they loved it so much... I didn't. I ended up seeing it this year and I was right to not want to see it in theaters. It's forgettable. Maybe the sequel will be better but I'm not holding my breath that's for sure.
