Why is it so hard for people to belive that maybe, just maybe Singer, actually liked his movie and therefore will never have to admit to making a "bad" movie. Let's face it despite what people on these boards say this movie did score a 76% on the Tomotoemeter meaning that 76% of the critics liked it to one degree or another - not exactly bad numbers that demand apologies! And to compare this with Hulk I need to ask the question - has Ang Lee ever said he made a bad movie with Hulk? I don't recall him saying so. Bottom line this was a different movie that has polorized people's opinions which is fine but just because some people didn't like it dosen't mean that Singer is going to bow and kneel and apologize for the film - he's propbably very happy with it and maybe just a little disappointed in how it was recieved by fanboys but probably doesn't loose too much sleep over them. I personally thought the movie was good -not very good and certainly not great but not in need of apology from the director.

Singer won't admit it's a bad movie because he's stil trying to sell it, and second because his ego is too large for him to admit he has screwed up. Simple as that.

Saph is a guy who is permanently banned from here. He will constantly create new screen names and post similar posts like you, claiming to be a newby. But the mods can check ip and bann him. He continues to do that. If they think you appear to be a new screen name for Saph, it is becuase you post similar to him. He will also claim he is a newbie too when people accuse him of being Saph with a new screen name in the past.

Some people have similar posting styles. It should only be a red flag if that person is causing trouble.

Hey, Shumacher admitted Batman and Robin was bad...I'm sure Singer can do the same.

That's a pretty ridiculous comparison....seriously, Batman & Robin was raked over the coals commerically AND critically....I beleive it's Rotten Tomatoes percentage was an abysmally low 13% ( Ok, I just checked and it is ) Meanwhile, SR was a commercial dissapointment ( not an outright flop at all ) and mostly got very good reviews from the mainstream press. Why on Earth should Bryan Singer apologize for that? Cuz of some pissed off fanboys? Seriously, if you don't like it fine...but expecting an apology is very lame. Joel Shumacher admits making the Batman films for the money and that's pretty much it....Bryan Singer wanted to make an homage to one of his favorite movies ( If you listen to the commentary tracks for X-men and X2 he mentions Superman: the Movie at least once on each disc ) If that's not what you wanted ok...but don't expect the creator to be anything but proud.

No. If the guy is a newbie I was just explaining to him why people are posting thinking he is saph. And I never thought you were bosef, or guard. If I did, show me the post. but I don't remember doing that. I said you guys had egos, and whenever we posted anything you guys would attack our posts with long drawn out posts. With regard to bosef's and the guards post, I said I was getting tired of those guy treating us like we are stupid hicks just because we don't like the film. We were called un-educated and other stuff. And the mods agreed and in both instances they told them to knock it off publically and in PM, and then removed their posts.

And what does me having to explain to him why people are posting that he might be a new screen name for Saph. Did you see me accusing him of being saph. He was simply wondering why people were accusing him of being Saph, and I posted an explanation. Is this another Singer apologist feeling the need to attack a SR and singer detractor post that you guys seem to love doing? Because I really don't remember anything in my post being directed in any way, shape or form at you.

You know what's funny about you, when you have nothing creative to say in reponse to somebodys post, you type something like "Singer Apologists". If you actually paid attention you would see that I have been constantly ripping the editing in the movie, who was responsible for that? SINGER. So explain to me how I am a Singer apologist? Make sense buddy. I actually let people share their opinions, negative or positive. It's just easier for you to generalize and put people in certain categories.
