Bright sequel is officially a go at @Netflix, but with one key change http://thr.cm/BVgzjC
I have seen a lot of hate for Landis (he is the new Lindleoff apparently) but not exactly why.
Anyhow I liked the movie and no surprise Netflix is going to do a sequel. I just hope the sequel delves a little deeper into the history and setup of the universe. There are at least 9 races apparently but we only saw maybe half that.
In this movie, only 3 really mattered and this world seems to build its hierarchy from those 3.I have seen a lot of hate for Landis (he is the new Lindleoff apparently) but not exactly why.

Lindleoff won people back over with The Leftovers. He proved he's not just a one-hit wonder. Landis hasn't. Even with all those scripts since Chronicle.

He's simply a better writer then Landis too, who may not have even gotten a sniff if it wasn't for daddy. It's probably why he's such an a-hole and has a massive chip on his shoulder. Deep down he knows it's true. Sad little troll.
Agreed. REALLY looking forward to Lindelof's Watchmen TV series.
Also, I LOVED Lost. I'm such a huge fan of that show I actually won the Complete Series Blu-Ray set in a contest. I don't care what anyone says about the ending; Lindelof and Cuse did the damnedest they could with the cards they had and made sure to answer the stuff that was important by that point. And IMO they succeeded. Better that than some unresolved cliffhanger.
He's a bad writer, who is around because of nepotism. He's also a sexist, misogynistic scumbag, who has been accused of sexually assaulting at least three women.I have seen a lot of hate for Landis (he is the new Lindleoff apparently) but not exactly why.
