Will Smith, Joel Edgerton to Star in David Ayer’s Cop Thriller ‘Bright’

Finally she ran out of coke money and returned to acting! Awesome.

They'll save money on the make up budget! HEYO

But seriously, love me some Noomi. I hope she kicks plenty of ass in this.

David Ayer's 'Bright' Lands 'Mr. Church' Actress Lucy Fry (Exclusive)
Lucy Fry has nabbed a key role in Bright, the Netflix feature project from David Ayer and Max Landis.

Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace are starring in the fantasy thriller about a human (Smith) and an Orc (Edgerton) who must outrun cops, criminals and an assorted coterie of supernatural beings in order to protect a magical wand.

Fry will play Tikka, a young elf with powers who is in possession of the wand and must be protected by Smith and Edgerton.

Ayer is directing the thriller, which is set to begin shooting later this month in Los Angeles. Landis wrote the script.

Fry is having a busy 2016, starring in Hulu’s adaptation of Stephen King’s 11.22.63 opposite James Franco and Sarah Gadon and appearing opposite Britt Robertson in Mr. Church, the drama starring Eddie Murphy and directed by Bruce Beresford. The actress also had a lead role in the Australian miniseries Wolf Creek and will be seen with Kevin Bacon in the Blumhouse thriller The Darkness.

I chuckled a little bit at that mustache.

So Edgerton plays an orc suffering from vitiligo?

This looks really interesting. I remember it being announced, but I never took the time to check out the details. Hopefully, this is the return of quality Ayer and I am very curious to see what he does with Smith and Edgerton.

It'll be interesting to see what something like this by David Ayer that hasn't been horribly butchered looks like.

Looks well shot by Ayer but aside from that I think it looks kind of dumb. Max Landis doesn't inspire confidence.

its an original story. Ayer's style set in a realistic looking world with orcs and magic. Even if its a bad movie i support that its being made.

I mean, it's basically Alien Nation but with Orcs right?
