Infinity War Will the Guardians of the Galaxy be involved in the Infinity Wars?

What do you think? I personally think they will come to earth at some point in Part II and team up with the Avengers to help defeat Thanos.

I doubt much of the actual fighting takes on earth. The destruction level would be to much.

I think after the GotG come to warn Ironman that Asgard has been destroyed and Thor is a prisoner that Lockjaw will teleport everyone where they need to go.

Gunn talks too much, recently he hasn't said anything but after Gaurdians he felt like a boss and just said anything and everything he could because of it. He doesn't command the MCU, Kevin Feige and his staff does. Thanos is a galactic threat which means more than just Avengers, Gaurdians will come too.

I'm not sure there will be direct crossover, but I can imagine some parallel storytelling going on if Thanos is a Galaxy/Universe wide threat there will be battles on multiple fronts.

I really like the thought of some of the movie not being on earth. This is going to be a special movie.

Yeah think of the damage Thanos one Chitari fleet did to Earth. Thanos entire army would be to much to handle. The Avengers will have to take the fight to Thanos.

What other Marvel movie director do you know that keeps in constant contact with his fans? He's awesome, and deserves our respect. Gunn is asked questions on Facebook, and rather than be a *****e and ignore his fan-base, he answers the questions. It's that simple, really.

Why build up to Infinity War if you are not going to have all the Marvel characters involved. Just have the Avengers fight Thanos without the need to introduce the Infinity Gems.

Gunns job is to focus on GotG 2. He might not even be with Marvel afterwards. I hope he is though.

The Guardians is still a pretty new franchise. It's the only purely cosmic franchise that Marvel has. Maybe Gunn wants to explore the characters more, and introduce new ones. There's an entire universe out there, it doesn't make sense for everything to be about Earth. The Guardians are his creations and he would be very sensitive to some other director taking control of them.

Fans ask him questions, and Gunn answers them. I understand if you don't like what he has to say, but you can't fault him for wanting to communicate with his fans. That's something that should be admired.

I think that people may have the wrong idea about Infinity War. They could very well in it, but this doesn't mean they are going to Earth. The war could be fought on many different fronts.

Thanos has a deeper connection to The Guardians universe than he does with Earth. People in GOTG are actually aware of Thanos. Gamora is his adopted daughter.

Drax had a vendetta against Thanos, because that's part of who he is in the comics.

Gunn seems honest and opinionated and open and to some that makes him a "*****e" especially when they don't like what he has to say. I don't have a problem with it though.

Keep in mind that there are some on here who got BUTT HURT when Whedon said he didn't care for how Empire Strikes Back ended and didn't like the repeat of the Raiders gun gag in Temple of Doom. All he did was express an opinion, he didn't shoot Bambi's mom. Calm down.

Well if the Avengers face Thanos in space or another planet, I think its age to say the Guardians will be involved one way or another.

To have the Avengers save Earth and no one really sees it or knows about it wouldn't make sense to me. They need to make it "real" to those on Earth in some way.
