Based on what you've seen and read will you watch this film?

Yes in the theater.
While it doesn't have the exact feel of the Spirit right now, I believe in Miller and I think the marketing might be making it look different than it actually is.

yes, in the theater. I dont care what anyone says, I think it looks awesome and I love Frank Miller.

Yes... I've waited far too long for the sequel to Sin City!

Bring on the endless sex, 'roid-raging violence, and excessive cussing!!! WOoT!!!

I'm not sure where I'll see it right now. I think I'll go in the theatre... Then I see a pic of Sam Jackson as a samurai or in a nazi outfit and I think, "what does this have to do with The Spirit?".
Parts of the trailer look kinda cool but then there's the forced Miller dialogue, the goofy visuals, and green screen thing that just bothers me.

I just don't know.

I'll probably see it in theaters if it isn't rated R. If its rated R, its probably not worth seeing anyways because the Spirit isn't R material. At least not Eisner's Spirit.

I'll see it eventually....but the chances of me going to the theater to do so are going downhill fast. I try to watch and own a copy of all comic book based movies (even ones the majority of people agree are terrible....I'm a collector)....and so I will have a copy of somekind sometime in the future. But it's starting to look less and less like I will be willing to support the boxoffice reciepts for this version.

On one hand I think it looks like it will be nothing like Will Eisner's classic strips or for that matter Darwyn Cooke's recent Spirit comics either and that really bothers me. I really don't care about or want to see Frank Miller's Spirit.

On the other hand it could be a huge train wreck and I don't think I will be able to stop myself from seeing just how bad or off base it might be.

So I will probably see it in the theatre.

I dunno. I don't really like what I've seen so far, but I'm still optimistic.

Rental, if anything. It looks disgusting to me.

Yes in theatres.

Anyone who says otherwise is lying, regardless of what they say on here.

I was a bit disappointed at first, but the more I watch the trailer, the more excited I get for the film.

I'll try to watch it on DVD only out of respect for the ladies (Johansson and friends). But it's not a promise, ok?

Yes because I wana see the film. Besides i've seen each comic book film so far this yea so why stop now?

I had originally planned to see it at the theaters when I first heard it was being made. But the pictures and trailers that I have seen for it are dissapointing. The color scheme for the Spirit's suit is bad enough, but now seeing the way Jackson is dressed, I'm real worried.

I only see a movie in Theaters if I REALLY want to see it. This will be a rental.

depends on what's going on in my house on Christmas. If the relatives are coming over, i'll probably see it at least 5 times in a row. Frank Miller can piss on Eisner's character all he wants, but it's nothing compared to spending a day with my relatives.
