Jude Law looks like he'd make a good android in an Alien movie.

Saw the new trailer with Apes this past weekend. Love the look of this. Can't wait to see it.

So did I see correctly in the trailers that is playing in IMAX?

The Paltrow one would scare the **** out of me if I walked in a room and saw it.

Paltrow has a tendency to do that to people.

All the time.

I saw this at a sneak preview last night. I thought it was pretty good. The setup of the spread and the race to trace it back an find a vaccine were really well done. The characters were all very believable. I think the slightly documentary-like feel of it, the way it was shot works well. I did have a few problems with it though. The film shows society beginning to break down, and you here reports of millions dead, and yet the scope feels far too small. I guess its because the film focuses on just 5 or 6 characters and what they see but really, it somewhat like Daybreakers in way where you here the problem is global and yet you just see a few different locations. The film also ends on a weird note.

Overall though I quite liked it.

Woah good call on the Pet Semetary thing, also if anyone wants to know how it ends I can put it in spoilers.

Does it seem like it fits in with the type of movies that play on the IMAX?

To me, the trailers made it seem rather small-scale for such a format.

^ I'm still perplexed by the whole Imax thing.

Anyways, WB has a Contagion billboard in front of their main office... made out of bacteria!
