The whole money deal and what not?

I'm reading it now. I guess no one can blame Norton or Howard anymore when the other ones are asking for more money as well.

Who can blame em? It's not just doing another movie, it's further cementing their status as superhero icons and they might casted for less movies in the future

Anyways, anybody else excited for Star Trek: Into Darkness? I just watched the first movie with my friend and I adored it! It had the simplicity of an enjoyable blockbuster, and it had a lot of heart at the same time. Sony should've taken notes, THIS is how you make a reboot!

Alright guys new topic.
1990s X-Men vs X-Men Evolution
Sorry, I've been watching them both a lot on NetFlix:P
For nostalgia purposes, I'm gonna say 90's X-Men. But honestly, had it gone on longer, I think Evolution might have beaten it. It was interesting and pretty damn good.

****ing Tim Lambesis.

Times like this, I just don't want to listen to any more music.

Who else would want to see a Punisher movie done in the noir like style of Max Payne 1 and 2? They're pretty similar characters.

I'd like to see a Max Payne movie done like MP1 and 2. Damn you Walhberg!

Oh yeah because it's totally Mark's fault that Max Payne turned out the way it did lol I knew something was up the second I heard it was PG-13.

Considering his last 3 frays on the big screen, I think they should leave Punisher alone. If anything, give it to HBO or something and let them make a series out of it, maybe that'd work.

Punisher has potential if it could get the right director and have a writer who manages to blend dark noir atmosphere with dark humor. Give some style.

I thought you liked ASM?

And I here I thought ASM was a shallow, heartless film.

I do like it, I gave it 9/10. Still... I can't help but to agree with people about the problems it has. The Lizard could have been a lot better, design and character development-wise, the origin wasn't really needed and I for one don't think the Spidey quips were funny or creative

I was happy they at least got Spidey talking. While it may not have been all humor, he talked more in the school fight then he did in like any other fight from the movies.

I think once ASM2 is out and especially when the trilogy is over, people who thought the origin wasn't needed will be saying otherwise.

I thought it set out the foundation. Man of Steel is setting foundation as well. I didn't mind it that much, especially considering Spidey's origins is a great story.

It was pretty shallow, lol. It didn't take any risks. At least the sequel seems to already be changing that with even having Electro as the villain.

Spidey doesn't need to be crackin' one liners every second but the fact that they got him talking was the right thing. It's all about the attitude and something that they need to keep building on and pushing in that direction.

Our group won 2nd place at this Canoe Competition and we all got a $250 Scholarship.

It pretty much was. Just because one actor was passionate and poured his heart into it (Garfield, obviously), does not mean that TASM wasn't a heartless, rushed out, made by committee, exercise in retaining the rights to the character.

Right, and I assume that everyone else except for Garfield didn't want to make a good film for the sake of making a good film, but just for retaining rights.

The latter certainly seems to have taken precedence over the former. The results speak for themselves.
