Yes, I hate overly religious and conservative people.

I have a friend who is religious, totally believes in God, but he's not the conservative type at all. But he's not anti-conservative either, just a mellow cool guy that doesn't take things too seriously, likes to kid a lot and so on. No one of my other friends actually believed him to religious when I told them. "You mean that cool guy? No way" "ok now you're just kidding, he's too much of a cool fun having dude to be religious"

I have alot of friends like that too, I have nothing against such people.

I mean people who put such a huge importance of being the "perfect" Christian or whatever, believing they are living the "true" life while looking down on others for being "sinful ants" if you get what I mean. Such people are just stuck ups with absolutely no sense of humour, are ignorant, narrow minded and can't see that they aren't perfect themselves.

Many times they also try to FORCE their beliefs in your throat, as if they should decide over your life. "Nooooo you said a curse word (that's even barely a curse word but they are over sensitive), my God doesn't allow that!!", uhm why should I follow your made up rules??

agreed

I dislike anyone is overly anything really. Hardcore religious people can be just as bad as hardcore atheists. Don't preach in my face, I am who I am! I'm the type of guy who believes in God, but I don't take my religion as "seriously" as my family does.

Overly liberals, overly conservatives....I try to stay away from the lot.

I am proud to say I believe we all have the right to bear arms, but I also think anyone should marry who they please, so I'd never get into office because I have the views of both sides and not just one, lol.

I think we should be able to have the right to bear arms, but they have to regulate it somehow. It's just common sense really. If you hear voices, maybe you shouldn't have a device that can kill over 100 people in 5 minutes or less.

There should be a stronger push for mental health, not trying to regulate gun laws even more, imo. With all that has happened in the few months and what not, I've heard nothing about mental health and only about what to do with guns. It's sad when the government doesn't understand the main issue. But, then...that's the government for ya.

May I say I just ****ing hate the term 'Christian'. Yes, I am a spiritual person, but when a guy like Tim Lambesis claims he's a Christian and tries to hire someone to murder his wife...that term is used so loosely on the tongue that's just a joke in my eyes.

Okay, rant is over.

I'm getting really pissed at the whole "video games teach people to kill" thing.

Me too why blame videogames when the real problem is our sociaty that teaches that ,one could say the news ,TV even art teaches some violence i think the violence is the part of our culture ,even part of ourselves as human beeings since is part of the natural selection

Back on religion, I'm proud of being a Christian but I'm not the kind of guy who is gonna go up to every person and say CONVERT OR DIE!!!. I'm more laid back, I do my thing. And video games teaching people to kill? It's not the game, it's the person that's the problem. I play CoD, GTA, Assassin's Creed, and others but I don't get impulses to go and kill things.

I hate when people blame video games, movies, and music for everything. Mainly video games. "Yeah ok, his mother DID buy him a .22 caliber rifle for his 11th birthday, but he was also
playing Call of Duty!".

I dunno but I want to breed a snake with like 10 heads

I don't know what I'd do with it but I want that to be a thing that exists

what do you guys think about this?

imo she is giving way too much blame to the producers. It's like she's assuming that directors are perfect human beings that can't do mistakes, and everytime there's something wrong it's the evil producers ruining everything

I generally agree with her, but it sounds like Black was able to do most of what he wanted to do without restraint from the producers. I prefer it this way, though I may not always like what the director does with his/her freedom.

Not only is that chick sexy as hell, I can agree to most of what she has to say. Her views on last years "big three"(TA, TDKR, TAS-M) are close to exactly as mine. And once again, another reviewer of sorts that also gives praise to Dredd...a film that more people should've checked out. Dredd was tied as my 2nd favorite CBM of 2012.

Just saw Star Trek. There was nothing bad about it, but...I'm underwhelmed. Cast was good, writing pretty good, some decent (but rather pedestrian) action, good character interaction, a nice dose of emotion, but something was missing. I'm not sure what. There was just nothing really spectacular about it. Hmm... I'm gonna have to see this again.

I like that I can come back to the forum after a few months absence and still see TDK references :P lol

how does that have anything to do with anything? :funny:

I have somewhat similar opinions in many places. But on Iron-Man 3 it feels more like that Shane Black got TOO much control and that's mostly why it turned out the way it did.
