The Amazing Spider-Man 2 With Great Sequel Comes Great Lounging - Part 1

I didn't really have expectations for IM3 since IM2 wasn't too great.

I saw Star Trek: Into Darkness!

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!!!

Yeah I kinda knew that since the first teaser. Still pretty cool that it's actually in there. I just don't want this "villain surprise"-thing to become too much of a norm

I don't want the Mandarin "villain-surprise"-thing to become the norm. I'm fine with the Ghul/Kahn type thing though.

Its two friends against each other
That's not what I want to see,nod or not.Let alone in the final battle

Tony and Hulk against Mandarin and his Extremis Henchmen would be better

What's wrong with two friends against each other? That would pack even more emotion as a controlled Hulk doesn't care that he's trying to beat up Stark.

If you're against friends going against each other then I assume you didn't like that Iron Man/War Machine scuffle in IM2?

And I'd go that plot idea without even using Extremis tbh. Save that for another film and where it can be done better, imo.

I disagree to that

I love realism.Which is the reason I love IM1

I don't want magic in a Iron man movie. If they come up with some scientific explanation to those rings it would be fine
But Mystical rings is a strict no no for me

So you hated every other film in the MCU besides IM1, 2 and 3 if you care more about realism? And I'm sure you're going to hate it once Doctor Strange shows up since you love realism so much :hehe:

Magic needed to be introduced and for it to be introduced in an already established film series such as Iron Man would have been the best way to go.

And...just for ****s and giggles...

Because every single officer was knocked off,One wasn't and he responded and shot on impulse,The captain told him to stand by but it was already too late

Seriously that's your excuse to sending thousands of officers into the sewer?

I have an excuse now? Really? I didn't know I did, except just pointing out the facts that other CBMs has stupid cops, even your precious TAS-M. Read carefully before you assume I have "excuses". That's you :cwink:

And....one cop not being knocked out doesn't make up for him still being a stupid cop. So that's YOUR excuse, huh? Lol.

After the bridge accident, they weren't since no body got a good look at him.

Not have a good look at him is not a good reason nor excuse to not pay more attention on the GIANT LIZARD.

The same way Foley got
And go watch it again, they were after both Lizard and Spidey
And they were more so towards the Lizard, they didn't even give the poor guy a warning and started shooting with assault rifles

The same way Foley got what? Foley wasn't a Commissioner nor a Captain. It begs more of a question how Stacy became a captain than how Foley became a detective.

And a few SWAT going after Lizard while the majority goes after Spider-Man is sad. Quit making excuses yourself.

While they gave a warning to Spidey to give himself up and even after they used a tracer rather than Bullets

Cant you see the difference?

I totally see the difference...Captain Stacy went after Spider-Man while sending a few SWAT members to target the GIANT LIZARD.

Because that blunder is 10 times as big

When it's really not. Loeb having zero idea what's going on with the Narrows and sends the entire police force leaving the rest of Gotham to fend for itself. The SWAT team going down to the lower street rather than just passing the destroyed fire truck on the other side

The entire force? Is it mentioned in BB that it was the 'entire force'?

"There's no one else to send in" - Loeb :awesome:

And that wasn't a major mistake in TDK,they had no other way to go

:42

[YT]nCQxhof9RlI[/YT]

So...they didn't want to disturb the other traffic? Oh wait, they're COPS!!!! They can do that if necessary

To each his own. I loved him in IM3. It's the "let's face it" comments that get on my nerves.

Ahh, okay. Fair enough.

I liked that plot way more than what was actually in IM3. If you really like Cheadle's Rhody, then that plot could really pull on the heart strings when done properly

If you like Cheadle's Rhodey, I agree, if not....it's some someone that's out of the bigger picture, like Rachel Dawes in TDK, lol.

I didn't really have expectations for IM3 since IM2 wasn't too great.

I expected it to be better than the second film though, lately, I don't view it as being better.

I don't want the Mandarin "villain-surprise"-thing to become the norm. I'm fine with the Ghul/Kahn type thing though.

I don't think villains will ever turn out to just be actors anymore, lol.

Dawes was so misunderstood, the recast didn't help her character either.

I still like IM3; it was funny, had a nice story, great action, RDJ and Pearce were awesome, and I respect what they wanted to do with the twist and it made sense with the context and all that, but it's not something I love about it overall.

I like IM3, but that doesn't change the fact that the twist is completely terrible and wholly unnecessary. To me, anyway.

I don't think it was necessary either, but I thought it made sense in the given context.

I'm so desperately waiting for Man of Steel.

What's wrong with two friends against each other? That would pack even more emotion as a controlled Hulk doesn't care that he's trying to beat up Stark.
Because Its the final fight and I would like to see Iron Man go against the Villian and his henchmen
Also when I say I would love to see Hulk, its the fan in me talking, its better not to have hulk as this supposed to be an 'Iron Man' movie

If you're against friends going against each other then I assume you didn't like that Iron Man/War Machine scuffle in IM2?
I liked absolutely nothing about IM2

And I'd go that plot idea without even using Extremis tbh. Save that for another film and where it can be done better, imo.
This I will agree to
It was too much to stuff the Mandarin aswell as extremis
Although the 'twist' worked in the context. They could have shown The Mandarin and Killian as equal partners and then show Mandarin escape in the end

So you hated every other film in the MCU besides IM1, 2 and 3 if you care more about realism?
LOLwut?
I loved IM1 and IM3,Hated TIH and IM2

Thor and CapAm were fine.Average.Liked TA as well but not as much as most people did(Again due to not being 'realistic')

And I'm sure you're going to hate it once Doctor Strange shows up since you love realism so much :hehe:
Not exactly looking forward to him either,or GotG
Antman could be a good bit fun though

I have an excuse now? Really? I didn't know I did, except just pointing out the facts that other CBMs has stupid cops, even your precious TAS-M. Read carefully before you assume I have "excuses". That's you :cwink:
TASM didn't have stupid cops and even if it did,TDKR's where 10 times more stupider

And....one cop not being knocked out doesn't make up for him still being a stupid cop. So that's YOUR excuse, huh? Lol.
Com'on,how many times would I have to repeat myself
He acted on impulse and CapAm's order was too late

Not have a good look at him is not a good reason nor excuse to not pay more attention on the GIANT LIZARD.
And a few SWAT going after Lizard while the majority goes after Spider-Man is sad. Quit making excuses yourself.
I totally see the difference...Captain Stacy went after Spider-Man while sending a few SWAT members to target the GIANT LIZARD.
CapStacy is not Superman, its not such a big deal that he 'went' after Spidey

He never 'went' after him,he didn't engage him in combat either, just arrived to unmask him because they managed to knock him down

They send SWAT officers after The Lizard and shot **** load of Bullets at him to kill him while they gave warning to Spidey to stand down and even after that they used cheap-ass tracers

If you cant see the difference, dont bother replying to this

When it's really not. Loeb having zero idea what's going on with the Narrows and sends the entire police force leaving the rest of Gotham to fend for itself. The SWAT team going down to the lower street rather than just passing the destroyed fire truck on the other side
"There's no one else to send in" - Loeb :awesome:
Meh..I forgot
I would have to watch BB again

And yes,BB has tons of plot holes aswell

:42

[YT]nCQxhof9RlI[/YT]

So...they didn't want to disturb the other traffic? Oh wait, they're COPS!!!! They can do that if necessary
I don't think it was that big a mistake to go to the lower street, they thought they had adequate protection and maybe there wasn't another way?

Just admit, every film do have stupid cops here and there but that in TDKR was too stupid and lazy writing to say the least

Spiderdevil, is your realism thing gonna prevent you from seeing MoS?

If you're looking for realism in a movie about the last person from a dead planet that can fly, has super strength, laser vision, etc...you're gonna be in for one bad time, son.

They'll get taken out when the film version of Superboy-Prime punches the universe......comics are weird sometimes.

It's too idiotic to become any sort of trend.

Too damn idiotic.

I liked Rachel as a character. You apparently didn't?

I think what hurt the character the most was the actress change up, and that goes with Rhodey with it going from Howard to Cheadle and where I just couldn't get into the character with the actor change up. There are some exceptions, such as Ruffalo's Banner.

Because Its the final fight and I would like to see Iron Man go against the Villian and his henchmen
Also when I say I would love to see Hulk, its the fan in me talking, its better not to have hulk as this supposed to be an 'Iron Man' movie

And...you will see that. Hulk would become Mandarin's muscle.

I liked absolutely nothing about IM2

Well that's sad, but to each their own.

This I will agree to
It was too much to stuff the Mandarin aswell as extremis
Although the 'twist' worked in the context. They could have shown The Mandarin and Killian as equal partners and then show Mandarin escape in the end

Very much too much. Mandarin should have his own film, Extremis should have its own film.

LOLwut?
I loved IM1 and IM3,Hated TIH and IM2

Thor and CapAm were fine.Average.Liked TA as well but not as much as most people did(Again due to not being 'realistic')

You said you only like realism. Only wondering that, if you like realism, if you didn't care about any of the other MCU films.

Not exactly looking forward to him either,or GotG
Antman could be a good bit fun though

Okey-dokey. So you are only into CBMs that have a "realistic" take then and only that? Interested with Man of Steel at all or no?

TASM didn't have stupid cops and even if it did,TDKR's where 10 times more stupider

:lmao:

Biased views, that's all this is becoming now.

Com'on,how many times would I have to repeat myself
He acted on impulse and CapAm's order was too late

Excuses really. Much like the excuses you assume I was giving. No such thing as just an impulse...more like one dumb cop when everyone else actually used their ears and listened.

CapStacy is not Superman, its not such a big deal that he 'went' after Spidey

But it's a big deal Gordon wanted to go after Bane, huh?

Again, biased views there.

I see the difference in you trying to reason the natural idea of stupid cops in CBMs when you only try to target one film, lol.

Captain Stacy "went" after Spider-Man while only a few SWAT members targets Lizard. Captain Stacy's mind was all on Spider-Man where he was following Spidey. Lizard was just chopped liver to him when he should have been the bigger deal.

Stop trying to be so damn biased, please.

I don't think it was that big a mistake to go to the lower street, they thought they had adequate protection and maybe there wasn't another way?

Just admit, every film do have stupid cops here and there but that in TDKR was too stupid and lazy writing to say the least

Wait, did you...did you still say there wasn't another way even after I posted the video? C'mon man!

I will admit every CBM has stupid cops, but TDKR did NOT have the dumbest cops.

If you're looking for realism in a movie about the last person from a dead planet that can fly, has super strength, laser vision, etc...you're gonna be in for one bad time, son.

Loved Rachel Dawes since 2005. She's one of the best additions to the mythos, imo. Mediocre acting by Katie and recast notwithstanding. Far better than the vast majority of Bruce/Bats' love interests in the comics, who are mostly laughable.

I think what hurt the character the most was the actress change up, and that goes with Rhodey with it going from Howard to Cheadle and where I just couldn't get into the character with the actor change up. There are some exceptions, such as Ruffalo's Banner.

I'm still on the edge about Ruffalo's Banner. It doesn't make it any easier that we're supposed to believe he was the same Banner from TIH, when Edward Norton was much better and brought much more depth into the character (imo). To me he was Bruce Banner just like RDJ is Tony Stark.

I can't even imagine how akward it'd be if there was a solo Hulk film again and Liv Tyler would now have to create the same chemistry with Ruffalo

Norton so phoned it in in TIH, it's not even funny. Ruffalo was the best thing to happen to Hulk since Bill Bixby, imo. He brought warmth to the character. I actually *didn't* want him to turn into the Hulk, which is the key trait for any actor to portray Bruce. He didn't bring depth 'cause he didn't have the time in the script, but neither did Norton, who was going through the motion.

And...you will see that. Hulk would become Mandarin's muscle.
He is not Mandarin's muscle though,no matter how you put it

Very much too much. Mandarin should have his own film, Extremis should have its own film.
Agreed

You said you only like realism. Only wondering that, if you like realism, if you didn't care about any of the other MCU films.
I actually don't care about any MCU movie except IM1,IM3 and maybe TA

I like realism, but that doesn't mean complete realism
Even when there are superpowers,a scienticfic explanation would go a long way

Just going 'These are mystical rings, deal with it' is a Strict no for me

Interested with Man of Steel at all or no?
Wasn't before, but I am excited now after seeing the trailers and TV spots

It seems to me that Snyder has made a good origin story, and if he explains the source of Superman's and Zod's power well,I'll be happy

Excuses really. Much like the excuses you assume I was giving. No such thing as just an impulse...more like one dumb cop when everyone else actually used their ears and listened.
Nope,everyone else was knocked out

Captain spoke almost as he raised his hand to shoot,He didn't order it before

But it's a big deal Gordon wanted to go after Bane, huh?

Again, biased views there.
Going after Bane wasn't the problem, sending the whole damn force was

This never happens, they could have just shown like 50% went in there or something

Captain Stacy "went" after Spider-Man while only a few SWAT members targets Lizard. Captain Stacy's mind was all on Spider-Man where he was following Spidey. Lizard was just chopped liver to him when he should have been the bigger deal.

The guys who went after The Lizard were more heavy duty, everyone can see that

And Stacy was just flying in the air,he arrived when Spider man was knocked out.He would have gone to the Lizard site if they had managed to capture him

Wait, did you...did you still say there wasn't another way even after I posted the video? C'mon man!
I will admit every CBM has stupid cops, but TDKR did NOT have the dumbest cops.
It DID

Cops make mistakes, yes, but its rarely 'in-the-face' stupid or 'facepalm' stupid like TDKR's

I am not being biased,Cap Stacy going 'Whats she doing up there' in SM3 when Gwen was hanging on for her dear life was dumb

Weird
I though Norton was probably the worst Banner there can be

IMO Bana was the best followed by Ruffalo

really, Bana?? To me he is the worst, his performance was so... "wooden" and emotionless

btw, having actually read some GG issues from the Ultimate comics... I don't get the hate

yes, I prefer the original. But the ultimate version isn't really half bad
