I think TASM is growing on people, but not even at the same rate as BB did. Plus, it had/has a couple things going against it.

True even if i like TASM a lot there are scenes i would want to replace or keep the things that they re-did like Dr Connors studio before they replace it with the kitchen

FF kinda has it easy. Rising and relatively acclaimed director, the previous version didn't do that great... This is more like BB than it's TASM.

As for Batman...

It's a shame that it's getting a low rating right now by critics. I never pay attention to those things anyway but hopefully its rating goes up in time.

That rating means nothing. You will decide if it's mediocre or not. And the rest of the viewers. Avengers is at 94% and in my opinion it deserves to be at less than 50%, but the audiences ate it up, so THAT's the consensus that matters to me and to the viewers respectively.

RT is just a number. For those that are able to think for themselves, it shouldn't mean anything more than that.

I honestly couldn't give a **** about the RT ratings. What matters to me is my opinion of the movie. And it looks amazing. It's probably mostly fat 50yo's that are reviewing this and don't like it because they're so in love with the original.

I have to admit after listening to so many people trashing ASM last year by using the RT scores as evidence that it was terrible it is flat out hilarious hearing these same people trashing the critics and calling them out of touch, old, stupid etc for these bad MOS reviews.

That being said I'm still looking forward to MOS and hope it turns out well.

Im in the same page like people saying these boards went over negative when TASM came out and now look MoS boards, i havnt seen anyone of the people who saw early there that said it was bad but they believed the critics more

It's disgusting how RT scores are used as fanboy validation and bragging rights.

The MOS threads are going in on the RT reviews. Basically what was going on here when ASM was getting lukewarm reviews.

It's getting lots of mediocre reviews but as many others have already said, just judge the movie yourself.

I'm not expecting Man of Steel to be deep or complex. I just want a superhero movie that has heart, emotions, great characters and nice action and the trailers give me the impression that that's what we're going to get.

Speaking of something entirely else. I find something pretty funny.

That is: Mirror's Edge 2 and the hype it seems to have. I mean, isn't the first one considered very mediocre? I played the first one and controls were ****, it was ridiculously difficult in the wrong ways, it was too short and the story didn't progress. I remember that game getting some bad reviews.

But with the trailer for Mirror's Edge 2, everyone seems to cheer and go "heeeelll yeeeaaah!! bring it on!!".

Is there something I'm missing here?

Watchmen had great substance and the ultimate cut added to that.

And Oscorp....I thought Mirror's Edge was a lousy game as well. Don't get how there is a sequel unless people enjoyed the gameplay. Only thing I can guess why ME would have a sequel.

Anyone else think Ubisoft should stop doing yearly Assassin´s Creed games? the changes seem minimum they are milking this franchise to death

I'm sick of the Assassin's Creed games. AC3 was boring IMO. None of them are better than AC2. I think they should make AC games every 3 years or so.

I really hated AC3 so I'm probably not even going to buy AC4. Maybe I'll give it a rent but I lost all interest in the series.

I seen the GP to AC4 I dont see any kind of improvements and I wish they called it something else instead of AC4 since its before the events of AC3 I like that you can interact with people etc and the underwater stuff but i have to say it looks the same.

yup and after that ending idk how they will fix it , seems AC is the call of duty of aventure games, i preordered AC4 but i kinda regret it because will be the same as three , finish the story, a little of MP then will be collecting dust in my shelf, but AC 2 i did the whole story like 5 times , because it was really good and i liked it , same with ACB but after Revelations it became a chore....i´ll give AC one more chance if it blows it i won´t buy another AC that doesn´t seem to improve
