I hope they make TASM 2 game way better than the first one. Stopped playing it halfway through, didn't like the swinging to be honest. SM2 game redefined that and forever will be considered revolutionary as far as "no limits" on a game.
Actually, it does include it, because the HD editions of MGS2 and 3 are the Substance and Subsistence versiones, albeit with some differences.
MGS2 doesn't have a Tony Hawk style minigame where you skated through a level of the game, doing tricks and stuff. It has been removed because of copyright stuff.
MGS3 doesn't have the sub-game Snake vs Monkey (a parody of Ape Escape, also removed by copyright reasons), online multiplayer (because it closed a few years ago) and a Secret Theatre (with funny parody videos about the saga, but you can find it entirely in Youtube).
The rest of the Substance and Subsistance editions are in the HD edition of the Legacy Collection.
I just hate how they're going to release the PS4, and then a half a year or a year later they'll release a smaller, cooler (pun intended because it won't run as heavy or loud) PS4 slim or something like that.

As tech advances/gets smaller and production becomes cheaper, it gets easier to make slimmer versions. So yeah...its not like they can already make the slims and aren't on purpose. PS4 is really damn slim already for what it is. Practically the size of the PS3 slim. Its like they skipped straight to PS4 slim on this one. Can't wait to grab one.
Also, it'll take way more than a year and a half for a slimmer version.

That's what happens with technology though. I remember seeing a TV commercial where a guy had just laid down some heavy cash for a new computer...it was a fake brand called something like XYZ #3. He was driving home in his convertible, top down, with the computer box seatbelted in his front passenger seat. His arm around the box with a huge grin as he pulls up to a stoplight. Just then he looks up and sees a new billboard sign being pasted up...it says, "check out the brand new ultra computer...the XYZ #4." His smile turns to a frown.
Anyways, back to the PS4. As shown in the post above me, the PS4 is already pretty darn small, about the size of the Slim and although I can't guarantee it will run quieter than the PS3 slim it most likely will, considering that the system is going to run cooler than the slim. The GDDR5 uses less electricity and the processing chip has been reduced from 45nm in the Slim to somewhere around 22-28nm for the PS4. That means the processors will generate less heat. Unless there's some weird design flaw I fully expect the PS4 to be quieter and cooler than the PS3.
I see. But I like some of the XB1 games so I definitely bound to get it at one point. I didn't think I'd get a PS3, but the Spike Video Game Awards of 2008 made me get one. The previews they had for Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 looked incredible.
Am I the only one who's noticed that people who backed up their claims that TASM is for fact a bad/mediocre film by referring to the Rotten Tomatoes critics score, are the same people who say that Man of Steel is a great film even though the RT score is lower than TASM's and say they don't care about what critics say?
When people said they didn't care about what critics said when it came to TASM, these people said that "Hey they are critics they know what they're talking about!".
Everytime someone said something like "Hey TASM is a great film to me" these people were always extremely quick to go "No, in fact it's a bad/mediocre film because look at the RT scores", and when others then said "But the user score is actually high", these guys went "That doesn't mean anything."
So yeah, the bias was always there and will always be.
Sucks for them, lol. I see that critics blasted the film, but I also see the critics blasting Snyder mostly because of his past films, like Watchmen or 300 besides looking at the film at hand.
Yes, yes, you might bring up that the critics should've looked at TAS-M and not compare it to a past Spidey origin film as well, but TAS-M had much more mistakes with the script and the editing and even the villain than any of the mistakes MOS truly has.
I still don't know if the character of Clark was properly done. I mean, he was a decent character, but was he a good Superman/Clark? Time will tell, I hope he gets a lot more character development in the sequel

Most of the critics were not bashing his previous films they were busy comparing MOS to the Reeves movies. They labeled MOS as joyless and bland and I actually agree to an extent. Except for Jor-El and Zod the rest of the characters are soulless, dull and uncharsmatic. I thought I was watching Superman Returns Part 2 before the action finally kicked in.

maybe that´s how you see it since you liked MoS more than TASM but other people see it diferently and things that didn´t bother you but did bother them.
i thought that TASM and MoS were VERY similar in plot points and certain scenes, i liked both movies but i can see why people has problems with both
and critics blasted TASM just because it wasn´t Raimi and the similar plot points
I'm honestly tired of the origin story films. I think everyone knows Superman and Spider-Man's origins very well there really is no need to rehash it. MOS and ASM should have both taken a page from Incredible Hulk and showed a short montage of their origins in the opening credits. That way there is more screen time for character development. For ASM that could have meant introducing the Connors family. That would have made Dr. Connors transformation much more tragic. And for MOS, more screen time for the Kent's, particularly Pa Kent who I felt was pretty short changed in the film.

I'm using spoiler tags just in case others haven't seen it yet(made that mistake once already, lol), but...
I think pre-glasses wearing, Daily Bugle writer Clark Kent we see in Man of Steel is just fine because we had a man trying to find answers, and a Superman that was a true Americana Superman, although the development in the sequel will be lead because of him killing Zod at the end of MOS, and presumably because of the destruction of Metropolis as well. Or, at least that's what I'm thinking since Snyder and Goyer seems to be bringing that up as well on the foundation of a sequel. But hey, remember when Nolan said The Dark Knight would be about Bruce Wayne's father and his legacy?
IGN got the chance to ask Chris Nolan if The Dark Knight would delve further into the themes established in Batman Begins, specifically the idea of justice vs. revenge and the exploration of Bruce Wayne's father issues.

The reviews I've read, I've rarely read anything about comparing the two films except for Man of Steel not having as much humor. But that's not really comparing the two as much as the case with Raimi's origin and Webb's origin flicks.
But yes, I have read reviews that mentions Snyder's Watchmen and 300, but more specifically Watchmen.

Imo, MOS's script and villain weren't big issues at all. In fact, if anything, the most praise of the film is of Cavill and Shannon. I rarely hear anything praiseworthy to Rhys Ifans.

The thing is that Superman and Spider-Man's origins...they are much bigger than Hulk's. You can do Hulk's in little to no time. You really can't with Superman or Spider-Man, but I do agree that origin films really need to go. The next Batman should have no origin film, as with the next Spidey reboot.
I don't think there will be a PS4 slim in a long time, because the original PS4 is smaller than the PS3 slim, and it has the power brick inside the box lol
Also, my main problems with X1 are:
-Always Kinect
-"The power of the cloud", or an excuse for an online DRM for the games that uses it, a la SimCity
-Price
-Xbox Live is close to an scam, if you don't pay it you're blocked of everything that requieres Internet in the console (including services like Internet Explorer or Netflix).
Launch prince for PS4 is good, I prefer inFamous or Uncharted everyday against Forza or Halo, its online services aren't behind a paywall (except online play) and I don't have a camera watching me 24/7.

TASM script was just fine, sorry. Editing was left to be desired.
MOS script was pretty sub par with a bunch of plot holes. Lois Lane showing up conveniently anywhere? Even allowed to be on a military craft just 'cause she's a reporter or something? lol. Kinda flimsy. Lets not forget Superman allowing
the final fight to destroy the city even more, causing deaths of even more and destruction when he could and would have just as well taken the fight to a more remote area. This is Superman we are talking about. The lives of the people is the biggest priority... Not to mention the terrible ruches and completely shallow romance. Sure, lets make Lois and Superman kiss while the ashes of what I'd say trillions of dollars worth of damage fall all over them along with practically the ashes of THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE THAT JUST DIED. Romantic, right?
. Script was left to be desired to say the least.
Editing on the other hand was overall competent, at least for the action, just as all Snyder movies are.
I was fine with getting another origin story with TASM and MoS because their origins, and Batman's are great. Not even just great, some of the best stories around in general. They can teach you valuable life lessons. Other superhero origins like Hulk, Iron Man, Green Lantern, they are alright but nothing truly special.

Turning the people into lizards, sure, yah, the basic idea. But in the cartoon, it's basically like the comics moreso when Lizard didn't care for humanity. In the movie, he wants to help humans.
