^ Hahaha man in not gonna lie. I wanted MOS2. Not MOS's sequel to be THE Superman/Batman movie. I wanted to see Clark progress and just Supes' story you know?

Well on the contrary I am glad there's no sequel.It was supposed to have the same Snyder/Goyer combo and most probably would have been another terrible movie

But World's finest is not a great idea this soon.WB are trying too hard to ape Marvel.But contrary to them,Marvel planned really well for TA

Its hilarious how WB cant do **** with all their main characters intact and Marvel completely hit it out of the park with B grade and C grade characters and all of their top 4 properties out of the scene(Spider-man,X-men,Fantastic Four and Daredevil)

Yeah I agree with certain points. I really enjoyed MOS and wanted to see that world go further, and I guess we will but with half the story focusing on Batman as well. I like Supes more than Batman so I care about Supes' story more.

You're right and it's weird. I don't know why DC hasn't gotten good luck at juicing out their characters and building their own universe. It's just weird. It's obviously very possible, I guess they're just not good at executing it.

A JL movie has been in the works since some 5 years,maybe more.
They then had a Green Lantern movie to start it off which flopped terrible.
They finished off the Nolan franchise and made MOS which was supposed to be the start of the JL franchise
It was panned by the critics but they still announced a sequel with Goyer to write.Now they scrape that idea of and are gonna announce a WF movie for 2015?
I wont be surprised if this 'announcement' ends up in the dustbin aswell

Well there's one positive point in this for us,If WB go ahead with a 2015 release for World's Finest and decide to take on TA2 head to head.Marvel might decide they need a Spidey cameo to even the scales.Make it happen Sony/Marvel

I took a peek at the MOS forums. Most are stoked and I don't blame them. It IS a team-up movie and that's fun right off the bat right?
I totally would've been fine with a WF movie as the THIRD Superman movie. Idk.

Not sure how JL would work either. Would Green Lantern be the Ryan Reynolds one? I could see what they're doing with the Flash movie out a year before, but the main reason why The Avengers did good was because most had movies prior that made the audience fall in love with each of them and connect with them. You can't just have a JL movie and have all these characters show up that you've never seen before. Idk it's a bit obvious.

Oh yeah dude. Such bad timing imo. They should've made MOS around the same time as TDK so a WF movie would have SUCH a bigger impact. People LOVE Bale/Nolan, and if MOS came out then, the impact for a WF movie would've been golden.

I would forget that GL existed and introduce Jon Stewart GL. He and Wonder Woman could add some diversity that the Avengers is missing now.

Eh, werewolve and vampires are kind of considered played out like zombies nowadays. Chamelon could make for a different type of Spider-Man movie we've never seen, more of a thriller. I don't know, but what would be perfect is if the symbiote was introduced sometime after Gwen's death, when Peter is most angry. It would fit really well I think.

Concerning the Supes/Bats team-up...I think it's a fantastic premise. They teamed up many times in the comics and those were some pretty entertaining stories. I'm not sure how well things will go as far as a JL movie, (GL was a bomb) but this idea of having Batman and Superman working together is awesome imo.

The biggest concern I have is that Goyer is penned to co-write the script with Snyder. MoS was OK but I was hoping for the sequel they would get someone other than Goyer...don't care for his writing. On a positive note, I think this is without a doubt the best way to introduce a new Batman moreso than doing a complete reboot again. Bale has already said he's done after TDKR which I am happy about since I have never liked him as Batman. They can do much better.

I do admit it's a good way to intro a new Batman. Good idea rather than another solo series.

Not totally enamored by World's finest. I really didn't like dark knight rises and I heard that man of steel was trash. Still, I'd give the Nolan universe another go. I just hope they hire better writers.

I'd stay away from any warewolf/vampire movie villain for another decade or so. They're too mainstream and the Twilight comparisons are inevitably dreadful...
