The Amazing Spider-Man 2 With Great Sequel Comes Great Lounging - Part 2

It's because MoS didn't even meet BB-like expectations, combined with their thirst to copy the MCU. Still, I'm fairly excited. Although I'll never trust a Snyder trailer again. Ever.

They're too worried about playing catch up instead of going their own way. They made another crappy Superman movie only this time with a lot of action. If they wanted to merge MOS and Batman they should have done something IN the MOS movie, not after they found out it made a pile of money. No faith in their own franchises...

DC movies are never gonna match the brilliance of Marvel's cinematic universe. Disney/Marvel is just way smarter with handeling this stuff. that being said, I really liked MOS and I'm super excited for the Superman/Batman movie

Marvel started this way back in 06' and didn't get their finished product until 6 years later. DC is just taking the complete wrong approach, IMO. They'll never have the Justice League on film the way The Avengers were.

Avengers had a brilliant, could I even say a unique tone. That made the superhero tie-in, which many thought impossible in a movie, possible. I have a fear that the Justice League movie will take itself wayyy too seriously. Of course these movies should take themselves seriously, but in good taste, and they should not feel the need to compensate for the fact that some think these things are just for kids

I'd bring on the Flash A.S.A.P if I were DC. They need a lot more depth than Superman and Batman to be a successful Justice League.

I went on vacation to Rochester to see some family, and my cousin took me a mini tour of the city where they filmed TASM2. It was cool.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Michael Morbius in a future Spider-Man film. I loved his story in the 90's series.

I love Morbius, I have always thought he was well written and has many layers to be explored with.

Well, if by "brilliance" you mean "crapping out mediocre movies that pander to fans", then yeah, I guess I agree with you. And THAT'S what WB is trying to copy? If so, both companies can f**k off and quit. Nolan was the last good thing about the genre, to me.

Raimi doesn't get props for SM and SM2? Favreau gets nothing for IM?

I'm sorry, I'm talking about the MCU. IM gets a pass from me, though, you're right.

Too bad Favreau had a bad second movie or they would have given him all 3.

See, that has to do with my MCU rant above. I blame IM2 on Marvel and its "brilliant" strategy(mostly).

IM2 didn't have to happen and shouldn't have. It was an Avengers commercial.

Yes. The MoS trailers really threw me off from the movie. I was expecting something totally different.

MOS had a ton of icing, but no cake underneath. You can eat the icing for a while, but eventually you'll get a stomach ache.

Best way I could describe MOS.

I don't exactly see why people call IM2 a commercial for TA. The only thing it introduced was Black Widow and some S.H.E.L.D. stuff. The new element, Whiplash, the drones, Hammer Industries, War Machine, etc aren't even featured in TA. I don't like IM2 that much, it's about a 7.5, but I don't see why it's more of commercial than Thor or CA.

I myself enjoyed the icing. Yes, I wouldn't have minded cake under it, but the icing was still pretty damn sweet
