When do you guys go on the hype? Is there a set time (e.g. Breaks and lunch during work/school, weekends, etc.)

I always go on my phone. Here and there on a computer but I guess you can say that I'm always on because it's so easy to go on my phone. (I have an iPhone)

Whenever I'm in the computer, I usually open a tab with the forum, just to see if something has happened. Then, I always like to post if there's an interesting topic taking place.

Watched "Now you see me" yesterday.

I didn't like it at all to be honest. The only actors I liked in it were Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine, as expected.

However, what the movie did well was reminding me of how awesome Mysterio would be in a movie. The movie touched upon many things I'd want Mysterio to be like.

I remember someone said he asked Avi Arad about Mysterio, to which he replied that he doesn't think Mysterio would work. Not only would Mysterio work if you ask me, he has the potential of being an A-list villain on film. I also think Mysterio could handle a film alone, despite not having super strength or agility. The fights would still be awesome if handled right.

Not to mention that Marc Webb has mentioned Mysterio as one of his favorites.

That is a very interesting thought that I agree with
Mysterio and Doc Ock both work well fighting from distance and keeping Spidey at bay, I hope Mysterio can be done this time, and given justice
He was the boss in both Friend or Foe and Shattered Dimensions, that has to count for something

Some of you guys will laugh at me now, but I honestly think Mysterio has the potential of being one of the coolest CBM villains ever if done right. Had Nolan directed Spider-Man films, I'm pretty sure he'd use Mysterio. Just change his origin a little (I'd prefer him as some kind of former stage magician who's also an expert on special effects), but keep his motivations.

Hadn't Mysterio been treated somewhat like a joke and cheesy villain occasionally in the comics, I think he could be one of the A-listers. Like how Kraven's Last Hunt elevated Kraven a few notches up.

I'd say he could be both, which is what I meant.

I agree with you about Nolan. Though I'd absolutely love for him to be the writer.

By the way, I forgot to mention that when Webb was asked about his favourite villains he said "Green Goblin, Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio". Garfield mentioned Electro.

I think that's pretty interesting. Unfortunately though, as long as Avi doesn't see the potential in Mysterio (I don't think he'd like Kraven either), it won't happen. :/

I'd feel bad for him! He gets a little more crap and blame than he deserves if you ask me. Though in this case, I think it's a little narrow minded to say that Mysterio wouldn't work on film.

Mysterio would be incredible on film. I'd pay big money to see a scene similar to in the Spider-Man 2 game. Especially when he finally gets to him, lands one hit and it's over. Loved that haha.

I try to balance out my TV, SHH and social life through the week. I'll go through the hype at work on my phone sometimes an if I need to say something I will. Some nights I could post here for hours, other just a few minutes. Depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Haha at least you have a balance. I have SHH bookmarked on my phone so I just go whenever I'm on my phone. And yeah I agree. Sometimes you can be on for an hour or so.

Very interesting. Yeah that was me who asked him. I jokingly asked him/suggested Mysterio for TASM2 back last year around the fall and he didn't say he wouldn't work, he said something like, "that's not an easy one to do."

But I agree Mysterio has a bunch of potential. IF they tie him to Oscorp for whatever reason, I would imagine Oscorp has tapped into hologram technology. That's all I got so far.

I know I am pretty late to this particular party but I just heard about the casting of Ben Affleck as the new Batman. So...I really hate this news.

We all have an actor or actress or maybe several of each that for whatever reason just gets under our skin and although maybe there isn't one specific reason why we don't like said person/s; you just don't like 'em. Well, Ben Affleck is that actor for me.

Heck I would've taken him. He wasn't my first choice but I would've taken any of those guys.

I think they want him because he's an actor, writer, and director. They really don't have Nolan anymore, and Goyer can't do it all by himself. I think he'll do great. It's Batman, he can't half ass it, especially with all the **** he's getting. He'll make the most of it.

I just finished the Cats and Kings storyline. Next up for me is the Sinister Six (waiting for volume 9 to arrive in the mail). I am really loving USM... when does it really go downhill?

I started looking at the new title "Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man" pre-Miles Morales... and it looks awful.
